I like "The Works" from Papa John's. I also like the chicken and jalapeno combo from Domino's. I don't really eat from the others.

Today Friday night is movie night, at home. Popcorn is out (gets in teeth), so it's usually a large cheese pizza. The pizza is deep dish, and the movie is usually an old western, or a TCM classic.

I love Papa John's the best and then Domino's. Alas, in this small town that I'm now living in their is neither. But there is a Pizza Hut and Little Caesar's so it's not all bad.

my favorite is fruit pizza...sugar cookie crust, strawberry glaze as the "sauce" and whatever fruit one likes on top, drizzled with either chocolate syrup or more strawberry glaze.

As for traditional pizza I like pepperoni and bacon and light cheese with the pepperoni and bacon on top of the cheese, so they get crispy. When the girls were home, and my husband was alive we made homemade pizza every friday or saturday night.

vegetarian pizza is also nice. Mushrooms, capsicum, cheese, olives, eggplant.
Absolutely no anchovies on any pizza :sick::sick::sick:

Its not friday night for me, it was Thursday lunchtimes I did school pizza delivery when children had read seven books.

its also cheaper if you go pick up yourself, some places charge extra for delivery.
 
I don't like pizza, but as a family dinner every Friday night we had pizza bread. We raised our girls making it every Friday. We'd buy loaves of french bread, buy sauce and lots of toppings. Cut whatever size length of bread they wanted and made their pizza bread. it was and still is the best 'pizza'. Now my husband is in heaven making pizza bread with his heavenly friends and our daughters are making pizza bread with their kids. FYI my fav toppings, light on the sauce, colby cheese, lots of mushrooms, sweet red peppers and black olives.

Before covid19, our local Pizza Hut had an all you can eat pizza buffet lunch for five dollars a person. We made regular stops there when we were in town. They had at least six different pizzas. Maybe they'll be able to reopen dining room after covic19.
