I'm starting this thread here instead of responding to the Texas abortion law arguments between CC members.

I am Pro-Life 100%. Or do I dare say 1000%? There's nothing that brings me to tears faster than all those beautiful
babies taken from us by the acts of pure satanic evil under the guise of pro-choice, women's health, and other garbage
excuses!

I'll tell you how Pro-Life I am and how it taught me fresh perspective on God's Word about protecting life, including my
own. According to advice I heard from (the now late) G. Gordon Liddy during one of his radio show's, a listener had a
question about defending our lives as Christian's. Mr. Liddy replied: "God gave you life with a purpose somewhere, and
you have a duty, plus social and a Biblical obligation to protect and defend that life at all costs!"

This broadcast occurred in 1999. He was right. And so was I. Who knew?

On Monday 18 September 1978, I shot and killed an underaged terrorist during a home invasion. I was home and he
invaded that home. I used a .12 gauge with a 18 1/2" barrel...at point blank range. I was never prosecuted by the State's
Attorney "...in the interests of justice". I was "prosecuted" and "condemned" by the Body of Christ all over town because
I didn't do what Jesus "would have done". One Christian mom told me I should have let that boy kill me because my death
would have "spoke volumes" of condemnation from God and he could have been saved and ministered to. "But now we
won't ever know, will we? His blood is on your hands, now and later in Heaven!!!"

Another brother said: "Get on your knees and confess this agregious sin to God, or He will never forgive you!!!"

I just broke out laughing at him. I walked away and never returned to church for years to come.

This kid and his pals caused the death of an elderly woman while she was driving. They terrorized her and she had a
heart attack and died in her car. I wrote a letter to the editor about this, and the punk decided it was time to teach me
a lesson about "hassling the kids", and came up with this convoluted idea to systematically harass me as often as possible,
hoping to provoke me. The police knew all about him: assault's on parents, teachers and other teens.

It was the police who told me to get a gun. "We can't be everywhere at once."

When he broke into my home, he shouted: "You wanna die?? HUH??? You want to go to hell with me??"
A calm came over me. I raised the .12 gauge I kept with me in any room I went to..for three weeks. I
said to him, "When you get to hell, tell Satan I said hello. He know's who I am!" With that I pulled the trigger.

Enough said. But i did have to leave town.

Think of how many lives you probably saved - including your own. If that was what such terrorists could expect every time, the number of would-be terrorists would decrease dramatically. It's do-gooders that make more and more of these happen, because the expectation is that terrorists won't receive justice, and certainly not swiftly. Swift justice equals fewer terrorists and lives saved.

Well... that's one way to introduce yourself!

Exodus 22:2 states, " “If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed;"

A man who has broken into your home and threatened your life has forfeited his own. There is no point to speculating what might have happened if you chose not to pull the trigger. Scripture speaks plainly in both testaments about the purging of evil.

Moses Young, I think you misunderstood me when I used the word "terrorist" to describe a domestic
juvenile delinquent punk. I appreciate the compliment, but it was one kid. The police and the State's
Attorney said he was old enough to legally commit the crimes of an adult.

See Romans 1: 18 - 32. God put His Law on the tablets of everyone's heart at conception. It is called
the conscience of knowing moral right from moral wrong. Everyone, the world, the flesh and the
devil knows God's law. They won't admit it, or even acknowledge it's existence. But it's there.

The world cannot deny it's existence!

Well, you did say there was a twist... You have a right to defend your home and life. Period. Plenty of Biblical support for that. Too much liberalism in the church these days.

I would argue that most domestic, juvenile-delinquent punks these days are terrorists. Committing acts of terror for political means. I'm sorry if yours was not, but I still think you probably saved some lives. :)

I see your point Moses Young. When you do stop and think about it, there are teenage terrorists on U.S. soil.
When I think of terrorists, I think of Taliban, PLO, ISIS, antifa, black lives matter, so forth. And as you indicated,
I may have very well save some lives. Who knows who could've been next on his hit list.

Way too much liberalism kaylagirl. In fact so many men shy away from church because of the mix of liberal politics
that sound palatable, but are in themselves secular, focusing on too much "love" resulting in compromise of Scripture.

I posted a separate topic in Bible Discussion Forum about too much liberalism and why men, even Christian men,
steer clear of church.

You look up to a convicted thief who publicly admitted he'd like to kill people, as inspiration for your personal pro-life stance?

G. Gordon Battle Liddy died this year of Parkinson's disease in Mount Vernon Virginia. He was 90 years old.

G Gordon Liddy obituary: Mastermind behind Watergate burglary
Former FBI agent engineered break-in that led to resignation of President Richard Nixon
Sat, Apr 3, 2021

He was also like many staunch "pro-life" people. Pro-life in vitro, not so much post-vitro.
November 1, 1986 LIDDY ADMITS HE WOULD HAVE KILLED 2 - Sun Sentinel

And, he was an unrepentant convicted burglar! The mastermind behind what turned out to be a bungled Watergate scandal during the Nixon presidency.
He was also an FBI agent. This means he was authorized to terminate people with extreme prejudice.

Not exactly a beacon of redemption in Christ.

They have said the same thing in other threads, or another, that pro-life people don't care about a child after it is born. It's a pro- abortion argument and utterly not true and easily backed up with stats. The poster has used a handful of pro- abortion arguments in another thread and continue to accuse pro-lifers of all kinds of things. Anyone who backs the pro- choice movement is not a Christian, period. So why is someone who is for abortion allowed to post here? I expect to see them gone soon.

Enough said. But i did have to leave town.
the HOUSE ran by Nancy Pelosi just passed a bill onto the Senate which rebukes Texas's Abortion law. The sad thing is GOP in the house (some of them) supported it with a vote of yes.

For me this topic has nothing to do with political position but a biblical one. America is being judged right now, and this is the number one reason why. 61 million children were murdered and that is not it just the only reason Certain states and leaders have introduced even greater evil and hatred of children with laws like

Mid-term, LATE TERM, AND EVEN NOW after they are already born they kill them after the baby has been born. WE assist the elderly in dying and even support "law Suicide ". Many self-professing Christians say also it is the women's right to choose, really?

When we stand before the Living God I hope HE will accept that answer when He asked what did you do to protect the unborn whose blood cries out to me day & night ?

I hope He will "Oh, that right Roe vs wade " was the reason why you did nothing Ok.
