Is modern praise and worship simply a form of conjuring?

That's incorrect.
When the Bible speaks of worshipping God then it's referring to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit because that's who God is.
Why then always the bible is adressing the father for to honor and praise?
No Single time the Holy Spirit as 3rd part of trinity is adressed to worship.
If you are saying that i am incorrect. Then go ahead and show me the scripture where the Holy Spirit is adressed for to worship.
God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The scriptures address worshippers to worship God. That means, when you worship, your praise, prayers, and thanskgiving go to the Holy Spirit as well as the Father and Son.
Maby you should read your bible. Thats the best way to find the truth. That you cant show me scripture which support your view. Speaks for itself.
I posted on this to you earlier. The apostles were filled with the Spirit a second time. Acts 4 I think.

I'll admit I normally pray to the Father. I often thank Him for Jesus and the Holy Spirit. But there are times that I do have a little talk with Jesus. I'll say something along the lines of Lord Jesus I praise, honor, and thank you for what you have done for me.

Can you show us some scriptures that support the idea that since you are to worship God, your praise, prayers, etc. go to the Holy Spirit and the Son?
Your argument seems to rely on a vague understanding of the Trinity, maybe learned from a Sunday school teacher, rather than from an understanding of the Godhead that comes from meditating on the scriptures from which the doctrine of the Trinity is derived. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have different roles. Traditional teaching on the Trinity understands that the Son proceeds forth from the Father, for example, and not vice versa. The Spirit proceeds forth from the Father, and not vice versa. The Spirit glorifies the Son. The Son worships the Father. The Son taught praying to the Father in His name. The details of the Bible are important.
here is a passage to consider:
John 16
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
There is a hymn of praise to the Lamb in Revelation.
People spoke with Jesus in Acts if they were seeing him in a vision or supernatural experience after the resurrection.
I do not say those who speaks to Jesus or the Holy Spirit are sinning. I do note the teaching of Jesus about praying to the Father in His name, and I try to follow that.
IF you are not praying to the Lord Jesus to the Father how are you heard?
the only method of effective prayer is Faith and coming by the authority of the Lord Jesus washed in His blood. praying with humility and sincerity but pray in faith.
Paul tells the Ephesians they have the seal of the Spirit. Then he tells them to be filled with the Spirit:
Ephesians 1:13
In Christ ye also trusted after ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, in Whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 5
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
Acts 4
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
But wasn't Peter already filled in Acts 2 in the opening verses there?

In Matthew 5:8 'God' is translated as a deity or, in this context, the surpreme deity. God doesn't mean 'father.'
In Matthew 5:16 Father is translated as a paternal father.

Thats not the problem. Of course God = trinity.
The point Was that all honor and praise which we find im the bible is adressed to God the father. If God Father, who revealed his word through His Son and then through the Holy Spirit makes differences, who are we then to deny this differences?
