Sure, that is a problem, but what can you do about it? If your issue is about the US, the pope and vatican is a sidetrack only, I thought it was your point. If it were your point, you hold no power over it in your own country even, because Italy holds the potensial authority, and only EU can force them to do something, not the US, and not in 3 years as you lay out, not wanted. And I guess that the pope is not the highest power in catholosism, guess it might be 7 catholics in the US who have federal powers that are above him, and pressure him to do what they want. Can me and you bend the US prez arm? Can we bend the SCOTUS arm? Can we bend EUs arm? Can we bend Italy's arm? Can we bend the popes arm? And how can we even voice an opinion that would change anything, if we are not catholics? Seems to me, that logically, only catholics can change the mess. So I suggest you do not infuriate yourself with this stuff.Accept that it is out of your reach, and you have to options, get angry, or just look at it and shake your head, and perhaps have a laugh of it.
