Look, if God wants you dead no vaccine in the world has a chance of working....but at the same time you don't go walking into an infectious disease ward at the hospital without protection either. (Over temptation and testing are strongly discouraged by scriptures)

The Messiah throwing Himself off a cliff would've been extreme, while someone pushing Him off is worth of being carried on eagles wings; handling poisonous snakes is extreme while being randomly bitten by a poisonous snake is worth of immunity (like with Paul), going around kissing or licking people clearly suffering disease is extreme and temptation, but walking around people who otherwise are showing absolutely no symptoms is not extreme in the slightest.
