I remember all of that very well. there were so many books out on how to do 'spiritual battle' that the term has become abused

some of the books were biblical, others were sensational and a whole new ministry of 'deliverance minister' sprang up. that's not even in the Bible.

Discernment was greatly needed. Then it was those ministers who ended up failing and the list is long and deep or all walks of life and denominations. You are very close to being in error IF you defend everything on teaching that asked and says everything hangs on it.

Once again. He can’t back his claims he makes accusations. The same ones he made a few years ago

The term "the Law" can be applied in various ways. It applies to:
1. The entire Old Testament (possibly the whole Bible as found in Psalm 119)
2. The Torah (first five books of the OT )
3. The Law of Moses (the Old Covenant) from Exodus to Deuteronomy
4. The Ten Commandments.

Paul applies it to the Ten Commandments in Romans 13:8-10 (as well as other places):
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the Law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law.

He didn't list all of the 10 Commandments there. Also it says "and if there be any other commandment." That's inconclusive to me. It sounds like he's saying all of the commandments, which there are over 600 if i remember correctly.

there are broken down by the 10 Moral, then ceremonial law, and then civl

there are two types of grace in the Bible

There’s this grace which you’ve identified correctly as a path to certain destruction

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

then there’s the grace of Jesus Christ in his teachings that bring us into righteousness and allows us not to be condemned while we learn from him

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity,

and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

he came to save us by turning us from our sins , not in order to permit us to continue in them

you make a good point, and I think there is a reason for the 10 and not all the laws listed by God when HE gave them.

The Ten Commandments God listed each one that Man violated before He gave them to Moses. I am sure Noah's generation, Sodom &, Gomorrah And the tower of babel all broke the ten Given to Moses 1000 years before God wrote them.

God is Holy HE did not change HIS standard when HE wrote the 10 Commandments.
The Law was Given By God so all men would not be able to say any more You never said don't sleep with man's wife that was not my own. If the law is what was needed to show us we have sinned then Why did not God provided the law to Noah's generation before HE destroyed it?


Because the issues were not the law nor were the law going to change the problem man has, which is SIN and an evil heart.
The man took the law of God and used it to control people by Legalism as the Pharisees did and do today.

Jesus confirmed this when HE was asked what is the greatest Commandment?

" Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ " Matthew 22:37

Did Jesus remove the ten God gave? Did Jesus just say that murder, stealing, and adultery are not that big of an issue with God?

No. IF you love the Lord your God you will not do those things that offend HIM and IF you have a heart after God no law is needed to tell you what not to do that will offend God. IF Adam loved God more or with all His heart he would not have sinned.
Enoch had no law
Abraham obeyed God and was called righteous had no law and was said of him before he was circumcised
Noah had no law before the flood yet was found right with God

Those In Christ need no law we love God with ALL therefore the Holy Spirit Produces the law of love in our hearts that Fruits of Love come to be in us and we are known by God not because we obey the law, but because we LOVE God with all as Jesus said.

The question is do you love God? That was rhetorical :)
