Hey guys,

It isn't often I make a request on here, but this week you get a two-fer.

I simply do not feel spiritually well. After my buddy went trans, I have a greater handle on the darkness everywhere. Part of it comes from living in Las Vegas. I am not really a Vegas person like most folks on here. I moved because I had a great job opportunity I could not leave by the wayside.

But lately it's all become too much. My church community here is strong and I take solace in that, but sadly I don't have much of an opportunity to see them outside regular Sunday attendance. The other six days of the week, I go about my business as the rest of you do and feel there is no escape from the mixture of depravity and servility to Satan and all his puppets.

Not a day goes by where I don't see a disgusting billboard, and a host of people who look like convicts. I did not expect it to weigh this heavy when I moved here, but my last stint was 3 months. I am now nearing month 6 of what I thought would be an indefinite period.

I guess the prayer I would like prayed is that God either fortifies me for this intense battle or I find my way out. Preferably back East.

If you read this much, thank you. If you pray, you can consider that thanks doubled.

Look for peace. It is possible to be strong and overcome your environment. But if you have no peace in your heart, God is saying it's time to move. I've made similar mistakes, taking jobs that seemed better but that hindered me spiritually. Ask God to make it clear (it seems that He has) and ask for the next step to be clear also. We will pray for you. One of my routine prayers is for wisdom. Life is way to complex for me to work it out on my own. And I'm retired!

Yeah, I get that. Recently relocated from Florida to Tennessee late last year. Got married in Las Vegas at the Hilton across the blvd. from Circus Circus. I will say a prayer for your spiritual and emotional well-being.

I understand. I actually felt what you wrote. I have watched people I loved turning into something evil. It's been shocking actually. And where I live, you can't throw a rock without hitting a drug addict or a drunk. It wasn't like this 10 years ago. I'm actually thinking that the fact that I am being forced to sell my house is a good thing. I'm looking for a place away from all of it. I'm ready to head into the wilderness and stay there. At least until Jesus comes for me. I am praying without ceasing now just to keep my mind right. I have heard from every Christian I know that they can feel the evil in the world now just like we can. You are not alone. You will never be alone. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Heavenly Father I ask that you fortify our hearts. That you give us strength courage and peace. Stay close Father we need you to fight for us. Please give us the words to say that would help the lost. Help us endure to the end. We thank you Father for all of our blessings and the gift of salvation. You are truly worthy of all praise and glory. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus we need you. You direct our steps and put us where you need us. But we ask that you give us brothers and sisters to help us through. I pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ Amen.

Those of you who prayed deserve an update. My outlook is better now. Clearer.

If God wills me to stay in Vegas, he will equip me to stay. Thank you.

Exactly, my honey and I moved to a little town in NE Tennessee from Clearwater, Florida late last year. Quite a change of pace for sure.
