It's a beautiful morning here! I woke this morning and had a thought of creating a Bible app for linux, I am not a Pro at building apps yet though but I see God helping me out. I want you guys say few prayer for me over it.

Christian movies are just really bad for some reason. Bad acting, bad stories, cheesy an cliché. You'd think Christians would try to do their best for God but when it comes to media, many Christian media comes off as lazy.
Jesus was a storyteller. His parables make up a third of his teachings. And just from the recounting we have in the gospels (which were written decades later), you can tell how he has some serious attention to detail in them, and an incredible imagination. He loved telling stories! And here's what I find most interesting about them; 1. He never mentions god in his parables. 2. He deliberately framed his message in this form, so that only those WILLING to listen would actually see the message behind it. Shouldn't we follow his example if we want to convey messages in stories?

I think a lot of "Christian" movies are made to be touchy feely, make you feel all warm and fuzzy (not, all, but A LOT)
From what I've noticed there have been a lot of has been actors/actresses who can't get work in Hollywood anymore that suddenly start showing up in the "Christian" movies.
