Please pray for me and my family. I am the second oldest of 11 children, and recently my mom found out that she was expecting her 12th. We were all overjoyed, but last week things started to look bad. Yesterday very early in the morning she had to be taken to the hospital because she was hemorrhaging. She is home now, and we are all hoping that she will recover quickly. However, she lost the baby. My older sister is also getting married next weekend, and I’m going to miss her a lot. It’s hard to be happy for her when I know that I’m gonna miss her so much. So it is a rather stressful time for all of us right now. Please pray that God would bring peace and healing for me and the rest of my family.

Hello ankagirl, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your potential sibling. Losing your older sister as well, even under her happy-happy circumstance, does seem like a bit of a double whammy for you. We had another member join recently who had eleven children (plus even more grandchildren!), and that is such a rarity any more, though I myself am one of eleven :) I have also experienced devastating losses through miscarriage and stillbirth. Lord, we come before You seeking healing, comfort, and strength for this family who have lost a child. Our hearts are broken for them, and we hope to see them restored. Help us to encourage them in this season of grief, to be a comforting presence, recognizing that You can heal wounds both seen and unseen, and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Ankagirl, may you find peace and joy amid the changing tides of life, as you rest in Him.

Thank you so much for your prayers, Magenta. It is a comfort to me knowing that others can feel my pain and are praying for me and my family.

You are welcome, Ankagirl :) I hope you and your siblings are able to find comfort among yourselves as well as being able to comfort your mother and father. I was 7/11 with a twin brother, and too young too understand pregnancy as my mother continued to have four more children after me, so I cannot imagine what it must be like for you, even having lost three myself. I felt so helpless to comfort my siblings when my dad passed suddenly and unexpectedly; I was almost 23 then. I have very fond memories of my family, as we were often going places and doing things with our many relatives. There was an almost twenty year span between oldest to youngest... and our kitchen table comfortably sat a dozen. Good thing the oldest was off to university by the time the youngest was born LOL. At Christmas we would have the dining room table equipped with the extensions plus card tables set at the ends so we could seat, goodness, I do not even know how many! Easily forty. The children had to eat in the kitchen, so it was a great pleasure to graduate to the dining room on such occasions :D

That's the thing about being in a large family. Eventually, someone leaves and there is a void there. I'm sorry about your mom and the loss of the unborn child. I will indeed pray for God to bring peace and healing for you and the rest of your family.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we may be able to comfort those experiencing any trouble with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

You seem so mature, for such a young girl, and very caring and selfless. I hope your mother copes with what has happened, as you clearly do. I will think about you and how you must be feeling. Keep on keeping on, great mindset. I wish you the best.

Sister Anna, Peace arrives to us through hardship by really believing!( Phil 4:7-9) I have found in most cases when a person you love dearly leaves, another who needs your same love arrives, the question is will you now give that love to another who like you needs it!! ( Gal 6:1-5) The Lord knows your heart sister, and like you stated ( Rom 8:28) will come to pass just for you!! May the love of the Lord in compass you and fill you both with his peace and his wisdom when another arrives! For this will happen when you least expect it. Blessing to you Anna!! This is from Jesus in me to you( Jude 1:20-25!!)

Dear Lord,

see this dear sister request. Lord Surround her with your Presence and comfort her. Lord help understand she is not alone and this time where she will have by herself is an opportunity for our dear sister to SEEK YOU MORE! Lord you inhabit the praises of your People, may our sister enter into Worship and praise that you will be with her and she may sense you at this time I pray. Heal her mother and may this wedding be a blessing in Jesus' name amen.
