it's not about the letter of the law. It's about grace, work to enter into his rest the sabbath is only as holy as we are! The sabbath for man not man for the sabbath

I've explained many times there is a big difference between God's work and mans work... You can scroll back through my posts if you care to.
I don't know anybody who obeys the Sabbath COMMANDS.

Exodus 31:15 (NKJV)
15 Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

The Sabbath COMMANDS were in the Law of Moses. Christians have never been under the Law. Do you obey all the Law of Moses? Or do you pick and choose?

Galatians 3:10 (NKJV)
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, "
Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."

I have also addressed Galatians 3 many times.... This is what Paul was referring to:

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26 Look! I’m about to grant you a blessing and a curse— 27 a blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I’m giving you today, 28 or a curse if you don’t obey the commands of the Lord your God, by turning from the way that I’m commanding you today and following other gods whom you have not known.”

The "curse of the law" is breaking it. The blessing of the law is keeping it. Breaking the law under the first covenant (contract) came with earthly penalties (E.G. animal sacrifice)... The Messiah's body paid the penalty for our sin (breaking the law). This is how we are no longer under the "curse of the law".

If you show an example in scripture of the Messiah doing WORLDLY work on the Sabbath, please let me know. The Messiah did God's work (healing, feeding the hungry, etc)... He did not do man's work (materialistic, personal gain, buying and selling). Why was the Messiah so upset with the money changers in the temple???
Whatever you do, do it as though to the Lord, not earthly masters.

If you have a job for worldly reasons you are already in sin 5 or 6 days a week, and ritual inactivity cannot cleanse you from it.

Are the Sabbath COMMANDS from the Law? Absolutely!

No Sabbath COMMANDS in the NT. And I'm certainly not under the Law!

Yes it is for us... so is much more of the law. From "be fruitful and multiply"... to the dietary laws, taking the rest day, how we treat each other, etc. The laws tend to be centered around what is needed to survive and thrive as mankind.... they are pro life and pro nature. Once we start making it acceptable to break laws, it becomes a slippery slope towards chaos and destruction.

I never claimed that not sinning in one area will cleanse your sins in another. However, teaching any sin as acceptable falls under
Mathew 5:19:

Matthew 5:19

19 So whoever sets aside one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom from heaven. But whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom from heaven

You Said: "No Sabbath COMMANDS in the NT."

Here is some simple math... A+B+C=D

A. The 10 commandments are found in exodus 20... and the Sabbath is verses 8-11.

B. The Messiah says in Mathew 5:18-19 that the laws/commandments remain until heaven and earth disappear.

C. Heaven and earth have not disappeared yet, but we know it will happen because of Revelation 21:1

D. Therefore, you are incorrect and the NT does command the Sabbath.

not here to do away with the law but to complete it.
What was completed though and what still remains to be completed?

Luke 24:44

44 He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be FULFILLED that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”

Nope, not true. If you are that bad at interpreting what I've said so far, I can see why you would do the same for scripture.

You don't believe this.

You think you're under the law given to the Jews at Sinai.

"Do not lie" is also one of the commandments. So why do you deny what you have said?

You don't bring sacrifices to the temple. You say those jots and tittles are deleted.

So you execute gays, adulterers, rebellious children and those who work on weekends as the Law COMMANDS? Or do you pick and choose the parts you like?
