Yeap it was planned to be as U.S. Defense Secretary of State Christopher Miller said back in January 15, 2021.

Miller reiterated that Washington will continue to execute both its counterterrorism military mission and the train, advise and assist mission support of Afghan security forces working to establish peace in the country.

Moving forward, while the department continues with planning capable of further reducing U.S. troop levels to zero by May of 2021, any such future drawdowns remain conditions-based. All sides must demonstrate their commitment to advancing the peace process,” he said.

Correct I believe Trump said something along the lines of 21 years is long enough. It's time to bring them home

This, like most post conflict withdrawals, was a political rather than a military planed withdrawal. The last people that need to know about the plan until after the withdrawal is complete is the press.

The military could have pulled off a quiet withdrawal of all troops and other support people a few at a time. When the withdral was complete, they could have a public turn over of power to the Afghani government, and exit afterwards. It would have worked well if it had it began in November.

3 days ago a spokesman for the Department of Defense said that Kabul was not in an imminent threat. How is this not like "when they say peace and security then sudden destruction comes upon them".

I realize this is cherry picking to make them look like Buffoons and in their defense I will remind you that they support pregnant fighter pilots getting special maternity flight suits.
What is happening in Kabul is a warning of the imminent tribulation

1. When they say peace and security, then sudden destruction comes upon them and they will not escape.

2. The picture of people in the plane looking like people in "the ark" is a beautiful picture of the Lord rescuing us with the rapture.

3. The people clinging to the outside of the plane, like those at Noah's time trying to get into the ark when it was too late. Another picture of the coming destruction.

4. They released 5,000 ISIS prisoners. The common phrase is "when we go up they go down". At the time of the rapture the fallen angels will be poured out onto the earth.

“Afghanistan has shown the world — enemies & allies alike — that our military & intel assets are largely irrelevant because we can’t deploy them successfully,” he added.

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6 “Yet I have set My King

On My holy hill of Zion.”

37% for Biden as of today -- Rasmussen poll.

On day 1 Biden was +10 (people who think he is on the right direction over wrong direction)

Today Biden is -26 (people who think he is on the right direction is 26 points below wrong direction)

(Also please note these polls have been proven to have a bias for Biden and the democrats)

He is below where Nixon was when he resigned.

TRUMP: My instinct was to pull out of Afghanistan — here's why I changed my mind

Aug 21, 2017, 9:37 PM

In an address to military members in Virginia, Trump said he sympathized with Americans who were "weary of war without victory" and said he shared "the American people's frustration" with a "foreign policy that has spent too much time, energy, money, and most importantly lives trying to rebuild countries in our own image."

He also acknowledged the reversal in his decision to increase the American troop presence in a country he had previously called for the US to exit.

"My original instinct was to pull out, and historically I like following my instincts, but all of my life I heard that decisions are much different when you sit behind the desk in the Oval Office," Trump said.

"So I studied Afghanistan in great detail and from every conceivable angle. After many meetings, over many months, we held our final meeting last Friday at Camp David, with my Cabinet and generals, to complete our strategy," he said.

Lamenting that he was dealt a "bad and very complex hand," the president said several factors led him to implement "a shift from a time-based approach to one based on conditions."

Trump cited the troop drawdown in Iraq, which he argued allowed the Islamic State to gain ground in the country, as well as a perceived threat from terrorists in Pakistan. He also called on other US allies to pitch in, singling out India as a trade partner.

Trump also insisted that Afghanistan strategy would be conducted in a manner that was coherent with his campaign vision, saying he would not give timetables for withdrawal or troop levels and emphasizing repeatedly that the US military would not focus on "nation-building," saying Afghanistan needed to meet military and economic goals to ensure continued US support.

"We are not nation-building again," Trump said. "We are killing terrorists."

Moments later, he added: "We will work with allies and partners to protect our shared interest. We are not asking others to change their way of life, but to pursue common goals that allow our children to live better and safer lives. This principled realism will guide our decisions moving forward."

“Hey, the same guy who thought that the 9/11 attack was a 7-Eleven attack. He’s talkin’ about dementia? All I can say to the American people is watch me, is see what I’ve done, is see what I’m gonna do. Look at me. Compare our physical and mental acuity. I’m happy to have that comparison.” – Joe Biden

“But I think the contrast between Donald Trump and me is about as stark as it can get in terms of our value set and– how we view the world.” – Joe Biden
