Isaiah 47 here we see the virgin daughter to sit in dust because of her uncleanness
in 1 peter 3 we see the apostle mention specifically baptism is not removal of dirt but an act towards good conscience..He knew this because symbolically they would be very similar.
Deuteronomy 9:21 throwing away sinful dust.
Deuteronomy 32:24 vile vermin live in the dust
2 Samuel 16:13 he flung dust
2 kings 23:15 cast the dust out

Dust was viewed as evil, as dust was commonly used among pagans.

There is no such phrase in Matthew 10; nor anywhere else in the Bible that I'm aware of. There are quite a few subjects in Matthew 10, but leading a horse to water is not one of them; though if you can provide actual Scripture I will stand corrected.
You miss the meaning behind the proverb about leading a horse to water.
That meaning is absolutely present in Matthew 10.

Further I would say, you are wrong about Jesus being drained of his life and energy for the entirety of His ministry. Jesus was God in flesh.
Jesus tells us that were He not meant to die on the cross He could have saved himself from that suffering. However, in point of fact, Jesus was born to die on the cross. Which is why He is Savior of the world. All sins put under the blood shed on the last sin altar. All one has to do is believe, have faith in that sacrifice and the reason behind it, and they are saved.

Lastly, one way to remove all toxicity from one's life is to choose not to associate with toxic people. In person or on the Web.
“Bad company ruins good morals.”

Really?

The Book of Genesis chapter 2:7 "Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
Psalm 103:14
"For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust."

The Book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12:6 "Remember Him before the silver cord is snapped and the golden bowl is crushed, before the pitcher is shattered at the spring and the wheel is broken at the well, 7before the dust returns to the ground from which it came, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. 8“Futility of futilities,” says the Teacher. “Everything is futile!”

yes, I should have explained better.
Dust is what is used in pagan rituals...essentially it is wiccan or witchcraft practice (ever heard of sprinkling of dust); when Jews (or early Christians) would travel through a pagan town; they would consider themselves unclean because the dirt of pagan ground would crust around their feet. So, specifically, it is the dust, or dirt, or ground of pagans that were thought of as evil.

WHOA WHOA WHOA HERE!

In all the debating of terms and conditionals, I think we have lost the original point of the thread.

The main point of the OP (as I understand it) is that the idea of "We need to get rid of the toxic people in our life" goes against the Bible, because missufan01 understands "toxic" to equate with "sinful" and the Bible says we should reach out to sinners, not shun them.

This is easily answered without all this back-and-forth stuff. "Toxic" in this use is a slang term that does not mean "sinner." "Toxic" is a very specific kind of sinner who delights in drama, revels in rebelliousness and disperses dissension and arguments wherever he goes. A toxic person is very much a sinner, but not all sinners are toxic people. And yes the Bible does tell us to avoid those toxic people.

Toxic: Adjective used to describe usually very negative person, that complain about everything, spread unnecessary hate or just talk trash about others. You can meet these people in any online game community.

Synonyms for toxic: Hater, troll, griefer.

Here you go missufan01. I hope this clears up the misunderstanding.

missufan01 if you have any other questions go to google.com and search for "what are toxic people." That will make it very clear to you.

id say its not a biblical statement....
Oh yes, it is. When Jesus sent out disciples he told them if they were not welcomed this: Luke 10:11 ‘We wipe even the dust of your town from our feet to show that we have abandoned you to your fate.

He also said in Matt. 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

I think cutting things out can work but dealing with toxic substances or toxicity there needs to be a clean up process...

for example you dont just cut your tongue out if youve eaten or swallows something toxic! you might need to vomit it out or have milk or get your stomach pumped with charcoal to absorb the toxicity...and make sure on its way out, it doesnt get into other parts of you or infect someone else.

you need to neutralise it and then detox/cleanse and furthermore avoid the toxic substance!

depending on what it is. There are some plants that remedy and clean up toxins. some traces of toxins are actually not toxic UNTIL they reach a certain level. Some people can develop tolerances.
The liver is the only organ that can regenerate itself.

It works very hard to remove toxins from our body. we need filters like our liver that eat up toxins, neutralise them and then expel them as waste (manure) that actually becomes useful as fertiliser....

Toxic is toxic, different for different people. For some, there are this incompatibility, for others it is other incompatibilities. For christians there are many, in regards to atheists. We all decide the amount of toxicity we can consume, safely. When you feel poisoned, you cut the toxin out, at least for me now. But you know, when the toxin keeps clinging to you, it may take some time to remove it. So may take months or years.

or a bomb, gun powder 2 the smokey kind.

The skin is the largest organ of the body. The skin and its derivatives (hair, nails, sweat and oil glands) make up the integumentary system. ... Another important function of the skin is body temperature regulation.Mar 10, 2021
