I'm pretty sure every human who has ever lived is given to pride.
You know, back in 2014 I was in my devotional prayer, and I had been asking God to show me what was so wrong with me that I could be sent into Hell without His Son's sacrifice. Banishment from Heaven? Okay... but Hell? Well, I think I got an answer.

In myself I saw a raging pride that would rather be in Hell cursing God than repent to Him. That terrified me. I said "Lord, you have GOT to take that out of me!"

That showed me a couple of things. 1) Why I deserve Hell and need God's patient grace. And, 2) Hell is filled with people who are there because they want to be. They, like their demonic cohabiters, would rather burn than repent.

Love it. True words.
Perhaps a moderator can give the actual truth about this however, in many forums it is against the rules to publicly announce someone is putting another on ignore. I do find that odd being there is an ignore option in those self same forums.
Further, it is typically against those same forum rules to inform a troll by their given pseudonym that they are thought to be a troll. I can understand that because the troll behavior that speaks for itself is what informs someone who arrives at the conclusion.

You know, all this started because I challenged Ebeth's original statement that she no longer sins, then challenged her again when she tried to back up on that without acknowledging her original error.

Welcome to the proof of what I've been saying for 7 pages now! :D:ROFL::LOL:
You are very patient with these sinless humans.

I'll help you in matters of clarity given your past experience as you note in your first paragraph. I of course am new and now aware of your history here. If I am talking to someone, or mean to address them expressly, I use their name in my post or I quote their remarks and then reply accordingly.
So yes, unbeknownst to you, you did make one of those text driven media mistakes. No worries. You didn't know. :)

Now, to your request for explanation. From me or anyone I'm sure can also chime in. While it is impolite to answer a question with a question at times, I think in this case it is apropos to perhaps address your attention to the context of the subject of sins-sinner.

If a sinner repents of their sins, and asks Christ into their life, and follow all the guidance of the Gospel as to how to be reborn in Him, and if it is true after this God remembers our sins no more, how then is that born again, regenerated person still in the category of the unregenerate person who was born to suffer the natural first and then the second death?
Hmm... so "sinner", as you understand it, means someone who is unrepentant?

Except that bold part of your post is not what Ebeth33 is doing.
Thanks, Captain Obvious... for stating the OBVIOUS.:giggle:

I'm mean really, why on earth would you think that I was even implying that in the least !?!

It should have been clearly evident that I was not referring to Ebeth33 with that statement.

I don't really believe people who don't want to repent know what is actually in store for them. I guarantee you they will regret it.

Monotheistic Christianity is the height of pride. Our tradition, doctrine, informs the whole world, and a bloody murderous history establishes "thou shalt not murder" was not a factor in establishing the historic tradition, that of all faiths and practices on the face of this planet, WE are the only one's who are right.
And God agrees.
That's pride!
Arrogance.
Hubris.

Experience.. and a Jewish man named Dennis Prager. He has a strangely Christian virtue of being gracious even to his worst detractors. I try to emulate that, and also because Christ commands us to do so.

So I break from time to time? Unfortunately.

Or, she's simply misguided,...

Or, trying to be what ... was it Solomon who warned us to not be overly righteous, lest we die before our time or something like that?
read JOB he claimed innocence and was truly innocent he didn't know why Satan was attacking Him because he was innocent.
I am not overly righteous I am the righteousness of God.

You are being nasty and you still haven't said what habitual sin YOU'RE dealing with.
we are to be overcomers:He will grant us grace to be overcomers. In I Corinthians 10:12–13,
1 John 5:4
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Revelation 3:21
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Proverbs 3:5-6

2 Timothy 2:23-24
Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7.

When you have endured what Job endured, you can compare yourself to him. Until then, not so much.

Perhaps. I am not 100% sure about this, but I do believe it at this time.

I think they will be terrified when they see it, and in agony when they experience it. But, something you'll notice in Jesus' story about Lazarus and the rich man. At no time did the rich man ask God to forgive him for what got him there in the first place. I do not believe people in Hell are capable of that, since the softening power of the Holy Spirit is no longer available to them.

I am saying I am innocent as he did that's the comparison, instead I am being accused of overly righteous pride

I think the rich man knew it was too late to repent and ask forgiveness.

There truly is such a thing as doing the research to lean how wrong you are about the existence of trolls on forums.
In point of fact, there is one forum that exists that is not religious in nature that was founded by a Troll, staffed by his friends who were trolls, and set upon members unaware of this because they relished trolling people who were fond of the forum topics.
Said Troll lost members because this was soon discovered. Said trolls friends didn't like that Troll master changed the rules about free trolling of members. Said troll friends, staffers, left said forum and started their own forums all around the net.
And for the express purpose of instituting yet another Troll site.

Now, if those keywords in my post garner the attention of the Troll guilty, so be it. The Troll master is a huge fan of the LOR trilogy. And a strong atheist.

Don't tell me there is no such thing as Trolls.
And to avoid being unclear, since this was mentioned in this thread, I don't believe someone who invokes scripture as it suits, while mostly acting contrary to it is genuine in their proclamation about being his in any way shape or form. This will be the last time I speak to or read you.

Nobody is innocent.

You seem to be very familiar with trollology. Perhaps there is a very good reason for that.

If you are innocent and don't sin, what are you asking for forgiveness for all day long?
