The way I understand things is this: We are not perfectly dead to sin. Being so, for me at least, suggests that we are free of any sinful habits or any aspects of the fallen nature whatsoever. That suggests perfection. If Paul says he's the chief of sinners, I know there's no way I'm going go through a day without having something to repent of. I can work to be dead to sin and repent of my wrong actions every day, and the next say I will have to do it again.

To clarify any misunderstandings, I have experienced what I believe to be progressive sanctification. There are things I willfully did, say, 10 years ago that I cannot imagine doing today. That's God. But, it's an ongoing process. It is not completed, and the Bible tells us as much. If it is not completed, then sorry, you're still given to sinning. Not willfully or cheerfully, but you give in to gravity from time to time.

If you believe that you no longer sin, then I don't know what to tell you. And, since I tried to address that and have failed to make any headway, I don't know what else can be said to you.

it is amazing to me that " Christians " are attacking you for simply stating that no one is sinless.

some people would just rather live in a fantasy world where they do not sin, and any who tell them that they do are sent by the devil.

the devil is the father of lives.

if they have a voice telling them they do not sin, in think us honest folks know who is whispering that lie in their ear,

so, do you ALWAYS , without fail, do exactly what you know you should in every situation??

here is an example- you state that you are a caregiver for you mom, which is a wonderful thing to do.

i commend you for doing that fine thing.

i to have been a caregiver for elderly relatives over the years, so i understand that,

i know it is also hard to do.

so, you see, if have ever spoke sharply to mom, guess what?

you sinned.

you know to not do that, but you did,

by James definition, you sinned.

Eh, you know what, and I could be dearly wrong, I think that person is saved. I just think they, like the rest of us, have a lot of work still that need to be done.

Given to temper, yes.

Not agreeing with you though without acknowledging my own weaknesses in that area. And, I believe, sinful pride is the root of most if not all sinful anger. Hell will be inundated with such rage. I look forward to the day when that demon known as pride no longer exists.

I'll help you in matters of clarity given your past experience as you note in your first paragraph. I of course am new and now aware of your history here. If I am talking to someone, or mean to address them expressly, I use their name in my post or I quote their remarks and then reply accordingly.
So yes, unbeknownst to you, you did make one of those text driven media mistakes. No worries. You didn't know. :)

Now, to your request for explanation. From me or anyone I'm sure can also chime in. While it is impolite to answer a question with a question at times, I think in this case it is apropos to perhaps address your attention to the context of the subject of sins-sinner.

If a sinner repents of their sins, and asks Christ into their life, and follow all the guidance of the Gospel as to how to be reborn in Him, and if it is true after this God remembers our sins no more, how then is that born again, regenerated person still in the category of the unregenerate person who was born to suffer the natural first and then the second death?
