This is the difficult part for the believer to understand..
Which is....
When we are no longer under the Law, ....as "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the Law", .... so then = the law has no more
authority to define us as a sinner, or our carnal behavior, as a "sin"

Romans 4:8 says that God does not charge sin to the born again.
Why not?
Because we are not under the Law., we are "under Grace".

Notice this verse......."you are not under the law, but UNDER GRACE"

And what does it mean to be under Grace?....Its means you are not under the Law, anymore, if you are born again.

Our GRACE as GENTILES, is not escaping the LAW, it was escaping HELL by God allowing us to be part of the Family and Kingdom!

The LAW ended the MOMENT God allowed Gentiles to be Saved!

So GENTILES were/are NEVER part of the LAW. the LAW ended before they were accepted by God to be part of His Kingdom!

You're not a Jew that can trace your Heritage back to 70 A.D. and beyond. The LAW only applies to the JEWS!
Everyone is under sin.......>"all have fallen short"........... And sin is discovered by being "Under the law".

See, if gentiles were not under the law, they would have "no knowledge of Sin", and they would not need to be forgiven their sin, by the Blood of Jesus.
But you see that they have to be forgiven of their Sin, and its the law they are under that has recognized them as being "sinners".

So, the reason all people are given the offer of the Gospel, John 3:16. including Jews, and i should know, as im marred to a Messianic Jew........is because all are under the Law.
Christ does not just redeem the gentiles from the curse of the Law, He redeems EVERYONE who is born again.

All the born again become "under grace", once they are born again..... because everyone prior to this is "under the curse of the Law" .
Once you are born again, you now exit Spiritually in the Kingdom of God, and there is no Moses Law or 10 commandments found there.
That stuff, is for the EARTH, and those who are under it, which is all the unbelievers.

AMEN!

Everyone is under SIN is no part of being under the LAW.
SIN is its own realm and we are born through birth into that Realm of Sin.

Our Grace is many things..

One of them is this....>"Christ has redeemed us from the Curse of the Law".
Another is...."you are not under the law, but under Grace".

Paul said that had he not known the Law, he would have not known sin.
Its the same for you.
Had you not known the Commandments, you would not have broken them all in word, deed, and action.

The LAW is over.
It died at the Cross.
That was 2,000 years ago.
The LAW no longer is used by God!

Yes, that would be heretics on forums who are trying to teach you that you must keep law and commandments to "stay saved", and that would be about 70% of "christian" denominations that teach you that you have to keep commandments to "stay saved".

Notice that the heretic is all about one thing........"how to stay saved". See that? That is is teaching that Jesus does not keep you saved, so, they give you some things to do, like commandment keeping, and water baptism, and enduring to the end".....so that you can stop trusting in Christ to Keep you saves, and you can instead do those WORKS to try to keep yourself saved.

All heretics teach "self saving", as........."do this, and do that", in place of ...>"Jesus Keeps you saved"

So, by teaching that, a person is denying the Cross and contradicting the Blood of Jesus, and that finds you here... Galatians 1:8

Commandments and the LAW are not the [same thing]!
The commandments , just like the law, are a BOUNDARY "....>Here is the thing you are NOT TO DO">
So, its the same essence.
A law breaker, and a commandment breaker are a Transgressor regarding what God said not to do.
Its the same in both cases.
You become a TRANSGRESSOR.

Then you have Jesus's Commandments, that are not anything like this........they are instead concerned with loyalty and love.

No, a COMMANDMENT is a DIRECT ORDER from GOD not to EVER DO!

The LAW is so when you sin, you understand it was a sin because there are reasons why each SIN is considered a SIN.

A Commandment and the LAW are as far opposite night is from day, it will be the blackest ever night and brightest ever day is how far apart a Command is from the LAW!

You know there is a very sweet women who I work with who is basically in the new believer state and she is obsessed with this pastor gino jennings who is a powerful and very biblical pastor but is also one who teaches law before grace who is making her believe she is sinning by wearing jeans who is making her belivee she is under the rule of a man who makes her believe she cannot pray to God unless she has a head covering and is so confused and afraid of her sin and 3everything else.

This is what the law does to new believers and is why we need to be careful as to what we teach and say because people like this are severely damaged by it, honestly it is people who teach the law before love and grace that I fear for her she is going down a very dangherous path and I cannot seem to help her

The commands were written in stone. They are called the ministry of death.

The commands also can not tell you every way to break them. Or how to keep them.

Interesting, the first sentence is from a post I was making when I decided to delete it but the first sentence of my post shows it was not deleted.

What the post should have looked like:
Kidron said:
"The power of sin is the Law".

AandW said:
There are NO connections to SIN and the power of SIN with the LAW of God!

here is the post I responded to....verbatim...what you are going on about, is anyone's guess. you are confusing

"you are no longer under THE LAW, you are UNDER GRACE". "
What does the Lord mean when we are told this? Some say it means we need not listen to the law that was written in stone. Some say it means that we are saved through grace not works.

Scripture tells us that the law of the Lord is eternal, always the same. The law of the spirit contains all the laws in stone, but the law in stone lacks the law of love.

I do not think that those who say that being under grace not law means we no longer have the order and peace the law brings about, for the Lord loves us. The Lord would not want us to live in the chaos and upheaval that lawlessness would bring about.

If you don't live for God, then you won't worry about sinning.
!
Regarding the born again..

Sin has been resolved. When?? Here....."Christ BECAME our sin", and the born again became "the righteousness of God".

Regarding the "born again"...

This is whoever is born again.......jew, gentile, ......... "Christ has redeemed us from the Curse of the Law'

"The born again are not under the Law, you are under Grace"..

Notice "under".
See that? That means "the dominion of"...

The born again, are not UNDER the dominion of the Law, ... the born again are UNDER the dominion of Grace, as that is what is found in the Kingdom of God where the Born again exist = Spiritually.

Everyone is under SIN and have fallen short!
Once you are born again, (not water baptized) but BORN AGAIN, you have become God's Righteousness.
This is the "gift of Salvation", AS = "the Gift of Righteousness".
The born again are JOINED with God's Spirit, as "ONE with God, in Christ".
