As per piercings. I do not like it in extremis however God di command some people have at least one piercing. That of taking a servant who wishes to remain beyond his indentured time and pierce his or her ear with and awl against the door. Wow, that is a piercing.

I think that to understand God as a God who makes many changes is creating a God in their own mind, it is not the true God. It is such as basic error that many scriptures are twisted into something they are not. The new covenant is even twisted when it is read as God changing the spirit of the law. Scripture tells us God is eternal, and that God never changes. That means we are to see the sameness in God's commands, for if God changes then no scripture can be relied on for that would make that scripture untrue.
 
God is the same, yesterday, today and forever.
He created the universe bound to decay for a reason, to teach us not to rely upon it forever nor to put the creation above the Creator.
Let us not go off on pseudointellectual tangents while we have the truth in His Word.
 
Many Type 1 diabetics have a tattoo on their wrist because they can fall unconscious due to their blood sugar level dropping to low...
Ambulance men/women often look on people wrists for these signs and it can be life saving for the patient...

It has been know that people can walk by someone who looks like they are drunk and crashed out on the floor , yet some of these people have falling in diabetic coma...

These tattoos are not vain glory , but part of their life identity should such a thing happen to them...Many a life has been saved through these tattoos...

Good point. But if the world hadn't decided to completely change wheat so our diet was based on processed grains in our bread, they probably wouldn't have diabetes. White processed carbs turn to sugar in our bodies and are the cause of diabetes in many people. Changing what God created saying man's ways are better isn't a good idea.

I think we sometimes box ourselves and God into a tidy little box, when we focus on the ‘Historical” Jesus. What God through Christ has done is basic, but until we know the Jesus that’s alive and active in our hearts and lives, we will continue to live by a bunch of rules to make us feel better about ourselves. The Pharisees kept the letter of the Law better than any on this site-what did it get them?

Type 1 is a autoimmune where insulin is not produced from the pancreas , many type 1s are born with type 1 , so it not always to do with diet...

I am type 2 , and yes , I blame the diet I was on , but now thank God , I am wiser to what I put in my body...

do you use wheat Rosemaryx? I just saw an article that it isn't the wheat, it is the glyphosate used on the wheat.

I do not have opinions when it comes to scripture, I listen to the Lord. You say the Lord changes things, I say the Lord does not. I can back this up with scripture, for that is where I learned it. Can you back up your opinion that God changes things?

that is not creation. the universe is expanding, the trees loose leaves, one day it rains and the next the sun shines

now the scripture does state that God does not change....but that is not the same as what you claim

God created seasons...there's change right there. now deny it

I can't begin to say I know the Torah/Tanakh. I know most Rabbi's would not give me the time of day since I don't know speak Hebrew. There are quite of few that have tattoos which does not mean anything...just saying. We either take what we read in the word for exactly what it says or we give our interpretation. All you have to do is look into this and what they did back then is nothing at all like we do today. How we do it today.. they could not do it. Then you have to know what was JUST for Israel then.

If we want to run with lol this body as in how God created it.. yeah Tattoos don't begin to touch what we do to it. So when your not following the 613 laws which was for Israel. Why pull this one up I have no clue. This same thing happens with "Xmas trees".. lol which is not even close to they did back then. Praise GOD

I precisely said do not come up with something that pertains to God alone...we are not discussing the attributes of God but that is now your presentation because you cannot refute the fact that God's creation is fluid
