I know that looking lustfully at woman equals adultery in the heart as the Word of God says. How to stop it?

Stopping it is like stopping Psychology... It's tough, all right? Frankly, having lustful thoughts prove you are human. I know it = adultery, but denying it denies human nature. If you can pull it off, more power to you. If you can't, it's not the end of the world. Just make sure you never act on those thoughts.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7

BUT

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Yes sir. Completely agreed.

I still try to do this a tip for the guys. Constant eye contact ;).
And I suppose gender segregation in young adults could help.

Your just agreeing with him cause your both to lazy to quit doin what you know is wrong.

Nah... I was really more agreeing with the part that said it's like fighting psychology. A lot of it is just the way we as guys are wired, and it's not something that even NEEDS to be "fixed." It's just something that needs to be controlled. Which is what I think he was getting at. Which is why I agreed :)

That is what the bible says, but when you have to live on the earth, with so many beautiful and interesting women for you to look at and admire, figure out and study, what do you do?

You have to look, sometimes, true, YES.

Lust is an excess. You can still be attracted, God made you that way.

And think of this, was your eyesight, and the things you saw and were drawn to the same when you were 5 years old as now.......NO. So, God did something for you, He changed you eyesight.

Read the verse in one of the gospels about how our eyes are one of the most important things in life. What goes into them? Sometimes, having what you think is bad go into them, is not all bad, you need to determine your reaction and what you will do in response to what you see. Your thoughts and actions, and what you learn and keep in your mind.

For example, what does Jesus say about causing a young child to sin, causing them to see and feel and experience things that no child should.....very bad right. But do bad things happen, yes, and then later children forget, forgive, or it has made them strong or be active in helping others and having compassion.

So, try to interpret more bible verses together with the first one you posted to figure out what to do, if this situation is so painful and annoying, or troubling to you.

I don't know the entire bible, the verses have learned or been taught very rarely stick out in my mind, but here, I looked this one up for you.

MATTHEW 6:19-24

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

So, I am still learning the full extent of this principle applied to life, and we can't handle everything at once, we have different stages of life right, birth to old age, and we do different things. But maybe this one can be one your top guiding life mottos, or whatever you want to call it.

Some women appreciate, being looked at, so, you could learn to appreciate their beauty. Maybe this is an important turning point in your life.

And, please I am not judging. I have learned lessons in the past, and probably still will. But, I wanted to share, since you posted and asked. Which says to me, you wanted someone to respond.

Take Care

:)

in my personal struggle ,since i was 12 years old i started having those thoughts ,and honestly sometimes i have them ,and sometimes are strong, but try to change those thoughts by verses of the bible,if you have those thoughts remember one verse of the bible , dont be confortable with those thoughts ,fight against them ,when satan attacked jesus with the temptation jesus answered him with verses of the bible,so do the same and you will see results .i dont know if all my life i will have to fight against those thoughts but till now i have always done it.but at night when i sleep i get happy because i know that i faught against them, that i didnt allow them to house in my mind.women are beautiful ..

That won't work, I've heard of early Christians who would try to live in isolation, and they said that even then lust was a problem. Not very encouraging, sorry.

The same way any addict would tell you to deal with something you cut it off completely.
You can't lock up all your alchohol and keep the key to the cabinet, or keep a flask in your pocket.
If we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive yes, but you can't just casually keep sneeaking a peek here and then, you have to completely get rid of anything and everything that will cause you to stumble if you want to be rid of this.

If you use the internet alot to look at stuff you should not then try Internet Accountability and Filtering Software | Covenant Eyes. Also get yourself an accountability partner. I don't know of anyone who has ever beaten an addiction by themeslves. You don't have that sort of desire to win by yourself.

If you go out in public and you find yourself in a store looking at magazines or whatever that you shouldn't then ask God for strength and keep in mind that the floor is usually the safest place to look.

How can i put this simply, youre a guy. All males wether they like to agree or not have been created to be lustful.

this coming from a guy who takes pictures with 7 or 8 girls at a time

Yeah man, taking a picture with girls makes everything you say invalid!

/kidding

but just because he has that photo on his profile doesn't mean he's wrong. I don't know what he was trying to convey, but the way I understand it is partially correct, even if "lustful" isn't the right term.
It's important for everyone here to understand that we, as males, are physiologically and psychologically wired to respond to visual sexual stimuli. When we see an attractive girl who may (or may not be) showing too much skin, our thought processes go wild. THAT isn't our fault. What can be our fault is looking for these stimuli for the purpose of being stimulated.

Basically, thoughts that we have when we see something that is naturally stimulating aren't necessarily "wrong," but they have to be controlled, and we shouldn't go looking for these stimuli. But that's just my 2 cents.

the closer we get to God , the further we get from sin , all kinds of sin

I'm not sure who you claim your creator as, but mine was the ALMIGHTY GOD, Who created me in His image and His likeness. Not in the image of lust...

There are only two ways out :o:
1 st way For some are eunuchs because they
were born that way; others were made
that way by men; and others have
renounced marriage because of the
kingdom of heaven. The one who can
accept this should accept it."( Matthew 19:12)
2 nd way But since there is so much immorality,
each man should have his own wife,
and each woman her own husband(1st Corinthians 7:2)
I don't guess what this problem can solve other way. :)
God bless you!
