Nice rabbit trail. That part isn't as relevant to my argument.
The Lord told me the earth is flat..or rather.. He revealed it to me.
Again, how can I prove the world is a ball spinning through space?
Of course it's relevant. You assume there is no longer a firmament because God opened up the heavens and made it rain. You are incorrect. It is still there, covering the flat earth that He sits above.
Please observe the sun at sunset. Note what happens to it. If the sun were traveling above the disc of the earth then it would fade into the distance so that you could no longer see it at night. But as you observe the sun, what is the action? Does it fade into the distance or descend to the horizon? If it descends to the horizon, then either the sun is not always above the disc of the earth, or the surface of the earth deviates significantly from flatness. This experiment is readily available to you daily.
This does not disprove a flat earth or prove the earth is a ball spinning through space.
It "fades" as it moves beyond the horizon - which is the extent you can see and not the "edge" of anything.
If you're unwilling to believe what your own eyes reveal to you then no argument I can make will convince you otherwise. This is my cue to stop trying. Perhaps we would have more fruitful conversations in other topics.

Convince me? I have believed in the "globe" and "space" my entire life because that is what I was told to believe. Then the Lord slowly revealed many truths to me, including the flat earth. I did my research and am fully convinced. There is zero chance I would ever retreat back into deception. How silly of you to even imagine it.
As far as being fruitful, I do not expect to convince anyone the earth is flat. I just know it is. The same way I know Jesus is Lord. If you are a seeker of truth, perhaps the Lord will also reveal it to you.

Perhaps, but I am genuine in it. I have always been a seeker of truth. Being raised in the Catholic religion kinda did that to me. The Lord honors the requests of His children. I just want to know the truth, period, not matter how uncomfortable. Many people are just happy with the status quo of the world, even believers. I'm not one of them.

Thank you for concern. In deed, much more people dies because of War, Hunger, accident, and many other deseases.
My explanation. In the beginning nobody knews how it will be. with the virus. We saw the pictures from New York and north Italy.
The goverments had to react. And as for the most of us this was knew for the responibilities. They had fast to find a solution. And of course many things were made where we from our view today would do hopely different. Many people try to make their profit with the Pandemie. We cant expect from a godless World godly deeds.
However the virus is there and nobody knows when it will end. What I see in Europe is, that where live without distance/mask the virus is growing again. 2 weeks ago i was in danmark.
Nobody there was wearing masks and had distance and the covid was down. Now the number grows again. That christians denying this virus or seeing in the vaccine a poison to reduce the human race i cant understand.
