Who are the property owners?
Another good question. Easy answer:
Gang leaders
Warlords
Local strongmen.
These overlords will have control of everything in their area. Including their choice of women.

I don't think I have to worry either. Most of these types of guys are pedos or into teenagers.

Were that last part true I don't believe you would be saying a slap to a woman's face doesn't hurt anything but her pride.
I think this type of thinking is why I believe many men (not all) think rape is just rough sex (not talking about the really violent type with punches, etc.). It doesn't really hurt, perhaps she even enjoyed it. I assume this because many husbands accuse their wives of even enjoying the rape (in the heat of an argument), which then leads to marriage problems, divorce, etc. This makes me think these types of men don't understand the significance of rape. A lot of men don't really understand rape, what women go through, until they see movies such as Deliverance or Pulp Fiction; they is a lot of commentary on this.

Yeah. I don't think these types of men are ignorant (don't understand) the hurt they cause women in these situations. I strongly believe that men like this don't care about the hurt they cause women in these situations.

Historically women have been viewed as property. This sissified age we're in will not last. Women will be owned. They will be bought and sold, stolen, fought over.... and slapped among other things. It is the historical reality.
Surfer14 said, "Women will be slapped among other things."

That's hard truth in a sinful world.
However, men will also be slapped.
Jael greeted, hid, gave him drink and made Sisera feel so comfortable in her tent that he feel asleep. Then, she slapped in the head with peg and hammer and killed him when he least expected it. The Bible says that Jael was blessed. Judges 4:17-24, 5:24 That's a biblical example of a woman slapping a man.

In this sinful world, many women will not take being slapped around lightly or kindly. Just ask Mary Winkler, Betty Broadnax, Susan Wright or Donna Rae Williams to name a few.

Exactly, to them the women are property, there for their amusement.

I hope no one takes you seriously.

It's my experience these type threads are invitations for insinuating insults against women while using God as a cover.
The depravity of man goes to the darkest depths. When New Orleans was flooded, the government sent water and food to places where survivors congregated. I guess the government watched lots of movies where people bound together and fought nature surviving together. Wrong! There were reports of men who formed raping parties and abused the women and children for days. The weak died probably many of them sacrificially to save others. The evil saved themselves and took advantage of the weak. I noticed early in my conversion to Christianity that many men in churches are “soft”, and kind, lovers of peace. They believe that vengeance is the Lord’s. They turn the other cheek. The Church is a perfect haven for these likeminded individuals. They find acceptance and women see Godly men and even find this attractive there. Well, I believe God has called me to a purpose. When I asked God, “Why am I here?” My answer was to be prepared…for everything, and anything. He gave me the knowledge to rebuild, and the strength to protect. I am a capable vessel. Sometimes the hands of God are the fists of God. He showed me many are sheep are ready for slaughter by wolves. Im not sure how many more He called for this purpose. Be certain a war is coming. It’s spiritual, and it’s physical. Surfer is not wrong, the strong will envelop the weak. Women and children will be their spoils. History does repeat itself. The reason for laws regarding slaves and concubines (sex slaves) in the OT is because even God’s Holy people were such aggressors in the wilderness. They will descend upon us like locusts and we won’t even see them coming, because they are already here among us.

It happens every day.
This already does happen.

Yes, I know this already happens in some countries but surfer14 said this "will" happen soon so I was curious when it will. I assume he was talking about the U.S. and the more developed world. So far this has not happened on a broad basis here, maybe just among some local gangs but the police is supposed to deal with that.

Nothing is sexier than a woman who knows how to use a rolling pin? What ever happened to the June Cleavers out there? Every episode of Leave it to Beaver she was in the kitchen. I’m not sure most people even own a rolling pin anymore. Maybe the dudes threw them out to avoid the bruises.

When 50 shades came out, and everyone was talking about it. There was a radio DJ whose mom didn’t order stuff on line so thinking it was just some book he ordered it for her. Anyways, the callers all reported about how this book was causing their wives to go crazy sexual. Dudes who were sexually starved, all of a sudden couldn’t get a break. This is what spurred my investigation. There’s many more groups than you would believe who practice this regularly. It’s not a sexual thing. They just feel it improves their relationship, clearly defines their roles and causes the wife to be receptive sexually. The more I researched biological reasons, it points to basic instinct. Like most mammals a show of dominance in males causes these natural reactions in females.[/QUOTE]

this is what I always find amazing when topics like this come to a thread. From the topic thread name:

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

The answer Biblically should be a resounding NO!

Yet 7 pages to what should be scriptural references to show the answer to this question are no, we have those who used the following over the word of God to answer this such as:

  1. secular humanism
  2. perverted shows
  3. feminism
  4. evolution
  5. ones own experience and unproven opinions

I find it also a great lack of discernment on my professing Christian who do not see the trollish approach to this thread and the subtle pull down in depravity in this topic. Like a sexual revolution, those here have been bamboozled from a false Narrative which started with a question of:

Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

Now let us look where it has gone and please tell me How Jesus and the word of God is the silent witness to this most edifying topic?

  1. ""Peter suggests that a Christian wife should be prepared to stand some abuse
  2. bedwetting
  3. "I’m not writing this from a Biblical perspective but you can’t deny this." ( please read the title to this thread )
  4. "I’ve read over the years and psychology articles to examine how we are wonderfully made", (the office of psychology was not given by God)
  5. What I believe aligns with Scripture if there is Scripture to align it with. ( not sound exegesis )
  6. the show two shades of gray used to explain reality from the fictional shows.
  7. " nobody agrees that abuse of one's wife is right
Number #7 is very funny because is the nobody the word of God position on the topic or the nobody a biblical one?

on and on it goes.

what is the last post this far what biblical truth has been made? let's see?

"This makes me think these types of men don't understand the significance of rape. A lot of men don't really understand rape, what women go through until they see movies such as Deliverance or Pulp Fiction; they are a lot of commentary on this."

"He gave me the knowledge to rebuild, and the strength to protect. "

Only if you had used the word of God over your own carnal intellect. the
Is it Biblically permissive to beat one's wife?

slice it, dice it, rename it put one's opinion add secular humanism and evolution all you want.

The answer to this question in this thread biblically is NO!

Yes, agree. This happened there, plus other places like at the border, shelters, and there are even reports of this type of crime in the military (overseas).

@CS1 Don't know why but it won't let me quote your post correctly.

But I agree. I'm not sure why anyone would add the part you quoted to this thread?:unsure:

Sounds like they are being too personal ( sounds somewhat perverted) and bringing lustful issues that have no real bearing on the issue at hand.

The coding got messed up somewhere along the line... if you look,
you will see a closing quote with no opening quote at the beginning.

When any part of the coding is altered, it can become quite confusing who said what :censored::giggle:

It had me baffled.

Thanks for pointing out the issue. :)
You are welcome, and thank you for not quoting a messed up post LOL. Sometimes
that happens and people just keep quoting and it becomes an even bigger mess :giggle:
