I've done this for myself. A real time saver as there is now no need to sort socks or finding a match for one in case the dryer eats the other one.I'm telling you... get all socks of one color for each family member and you'll never have the problem again.
I threw out a single sock, my favourite, after a couple of years. When I moved house, I found the other sock under the washing machine. Now I know where they like to hide. I put all my socks in a washbag. They can't undo the zip so they cannot escape. It works, unless I forget to close the zip. So far, I've not lost a sock.
That happens EVERY TIME I finally toss a sock! It mysteriously reappears!

my parents still wear socks with holes in them
I can tell which ones are mine because mine dont have holes. Also I wear different type of socks from them.
I do try to keep them together by tucking them up when I take them off and putting them away. But there is always the odd sock out. Even when I try to buy them all the same colour.
solution, wear stockings/tights/pantyhose and they are joined at the the top. Or onesies. Though that only works during winter.
yea they make them for adults too. They come with feet already.Onsies? Like...a garment a baby wears? Or...I'm assuming onsie means something different in NZ?![]()
So,
This is what we call or think of as "onesies" in the US:
![]()
and typically what we see that have feet are pajamas. Hence the name "footed pajamas"
(hey, my kiddos lived in these when they were itty bits, it really did help alleviate the pulling off their socks at random times, and losing them problem![]()
)
well, when i was googling onesies I didYeah, I was going to say I've seen footie pjs for adults but I've never seen onsies.
Oh.well, when i was googling onesies I did......
um I wont post those images though ( they weren't umappropriate
)
Onesies? Yeah, that might be a NZ thing.Onsies? Like...a garment a baby wears? Or...I'm assuming onesie means something different in NZ?![]()
