So is the law for you then, are you so Godly you don't need your God to tell YOU what to do and not do?

As for me, I do my best to follow my Lord and I still often fail. I need Christ, but if you are Godly, you won't need Him.
I would see you ,at best ( with respect) as a weaker Sister .
12¶For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Someone who is still needing the training wheels on . At worst ,a cause for another to stumble and ship wreck their faith . What your clumsily teaching is that serious . A kin to a SDA .

can you understand that we do not think that salvation comes by the law? No one has said that the law saves.

Can you comprehend the simple equation?......

Jesus and His love, Grace, and blood/ life. = our Love for Him, our faith in Him, = keeping the law, obeying Him.

Mat_19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
1Jn_5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn_5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Rev_12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev_14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Could you explain to me how a person is saved today ?

That is exactly why this post, it is about the love God has for us. That love is expressed in countless ways. God's mercy is so vast it is almost beyond our ability to think of it. And one way that the Lord gives this mercy, love, and forgiveness is through the law.

Living in disobedience to law is to put ourselves out of the reach of God in our lives, it is to separate ourselves from the Lord. Disobedience leads to bondage for to live with sin in our lives is to live in bondage to sin. The law tells us how to draw close to Him in our everyday lives.

We know to draw close to God through God's forgiveness of our sin. After forgiveness, we are to learn to live in the righteousness that forgiveness has earned for us.
Wow you just hit rock bottom, and proved you have no grasp of the law,

you really think you can keep the law and are not disobedient to it?

You keep telling people to read the OT. Yet like the pharisee you seem to claim to know it yet you do not KNOW it,

as david said, blessed is the man who God does not impute sin, he also said sacrifice and burnt offering you did not desire,

even he understood the law condemned and it is by grace we are saved, and it’s not by the law we walk in zgod it is by faith,

Amen!

But even if God would have chosen not to put an end to the Mosaic Law, no man could ever bypass or trick the Law in order to achieve Eternal Paradise. The Law was only designed to show humans are flawed and sinful. Grace covers it up much better even though we are still just as flawed and sinful.
By the law is knowledge of falling short (sin) cursed is the one who does not obey every word,

the ministers of DEATH written in stone

100% faith in Jesus

We are saved by faith in Gods grace. Because Jesus paid it all we can be forgiven of our sins. We need to accept this by faith.
But true faith will not be without works. our works will not be good enough to save us, but because we love Jesus and want to be like Him we allow Him to work in us to obey the law of Love. Justification is when we accept the grace of Jesus, sanctification is when we allow Jesus to transform us and free us from the bondage of sin, (which is continual).

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

the Lord is Judge
The thief on the cross didn't have much time but was saved.
It isn't about works or what we do it is about faith in Jesus.

The law reveals or sin and if we love Jesus and obey the Spirit it will show. It is wonderful the way Jesus can change our hearts.

God know if your ignorance is on purpose or not.
He winks at our ignorance
we do not earn salvation over time or by effort but we respond to Gods love, and it shows in our actions.

Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

"The thief on the cross didn't have much time but was saved" .. Exactly.
Hear the Master speak to his apostles of the Second Era:

Beloved John:
You who rested your temple on my heart, you would like all those who listen to me to become worthy of reclining in Me to feel my peace, to be close to the source of life. Your fight is not over, your spirit tirelessly prays and sends its light among humanity of the Third Era, to whom you prophesied many wonders. In this Era you are seeing, the fulfillment of the manifestations that you saw in your visions and ecstasy and of which you did not know their meaning, nor when they were to be fulfilled. Watch over the world.

Judas Iscariot, my apostle:
Today humility is in your spirit, because the atonement has been bitter, very bitter; On the other hand, today your influence is beneficially spilled over humanity. Invisibly you present yourself as men's counselor. I have given you my peace, disciple, why don't you feel it fully in your spirit? Much have you cried, despite the fact that I have never denied you my comfort and my forgiveness; is it that you are waiting for the last of my children to be able to say to me: "Lord, come down from your cross, I am already at peace, I am already worthy of receiving your forgiveness."
While you see that humanity sinks more and more into sin and blasphemes, betrays and crucifies me, your spirit suffers torments that the world could not imagine and every sin in which it ignores me you feel it as if you were the one who is ignoring me.
Son, disciple: Take from my table the bread and wine that you left that night, which was the last as a man I passed with you, I tell you: Eat and drink, today I give you what you did not receive at that dinner and that everyone else received. I put aside your neediness and your misery by the humility that you have today, like the fruit of a great repentance. Take my peace and find in it my body and my blood too.

Behold, people, my new lessons of love, do with your brothers what you see I do with you. What are you going to do in this time with my work? In front of Me I contemplate a new Calvary and a cross. My painful way has not finished, my passion did not end on Golgotha, my steps are still leaving their bloody footprint.

My people, humanity:
Come my way and your sacrifice I will turn into Eternal Life, your pain into joy and when you reach the top of the mountain, you will see my love waiting for you. The world also awaits me, it is hungry and thirsty for My love, but I will reach everyone, because this has been my promise; when the nations are at peace and sin has been exterminated and men love each other as brothers, I will show you the sword with which I conquered you: LOVE.

In the Second Era, that last night. The sun was in the evening, when Jesus was talking with his apostles in that room for the last time. They were like the words of a father in agony to his beloved children. There was sadness in Jesus and also in the disciples who still did not know what was to come A few hours later, they awaited the One who had come to teach them and who had loved them so much. His Lord was leaving, but they did not yet know how. Peter wept, holding the chalice to his heart. John moistened the Teacher's chest with his tears. Matthew and Bartholomew were ecstatic at my teaching. Philip and Thomas hid their bitterness while they dined with Me. James the youngest and the oldest, Thaddaeus, Andrew and Simon, were speechless with pain, however much more is what they spoke to me with their heart.
Judas Iscariot also carried pain in his heart, anguish and remorse, but already he couldn't back down because the darkness had possessed him.
The martyrdom of the cross was approaching, from which Jesus would leave his Mother, like a lark that would warm those little ones, while the Light of my Holy Spirit descended to illuminate them. They would soon feel strong after the moments of weakness, to spread throughout the world preaching the Good News and announcing the Kingdom of Heaven to the Gentile and idolatrous peoples.
When Jesus finished saying his last words and recommendations, those disciples were bathed crying, but one of them was gone, his spirit could not receive so much love or contemplate so much light and he turned away because that word burned his heart.
People of this time, new disciples: I allowed in my apostles of the Second Era the betrayal of a disciple to give you a great lesson in it. Do not become judges of the one whom I have judged and forgiven with love, take it rather as an open book and as a symbol. How many of you who are judging him now will wear a betrayal in your heart?
In these moments when I speak to you and remember those events, the light is also shinning, it is the same light that gave birth to humanity. But now, while I speak to you thus, the cry of the peoples and the noise of your wars.
How much misery I contemplate in your world and how much sadness there is in my Spirit!
Blessed are those who, with pain in their hearts, remember the day Jesus was on the tree, from which he came followed by the mobs to Calvary.
Today my Spirit feels among you in a new prison, but it is of love, that of your heart, in which you would like to imprison me because you begin to love me. I also see the new cross where you are going to raise me, but it is not that one you made for me to die; today is that of your spirituality, which seeks my open arms and longs for the torrent of my divine blood that is life. You do not accuse me now, on the contrary you are my defenders, because you already know of my innocence.
I cannot say the same of all, because men have accumulated so many imperfections and so many sins in the world, which are also for Me like a new cross of pain that has prepared me for this time.
You were all rescued by my example and you cannot die; However, it is necessary that I come to rescue you from the darkness that surrounds you and that they do not let you know the True Life.
How many mixed feelings stir your hearts when listening to my word, beloved people! That painful accent with whom I speak of those hours of bitterness, it moves those who have cried a lot more, because this life is a street of bitterness and it is Calvary.
At that time three judges judged me: Annas, Pilate and Herod, and the people carried out their sentence in Me. Now I tell you that there are many my judges and a greater number who will make me feel the pain at this time; But the more they abhor men of my Law and of my Doctrine, when I am most persecuted and denied, the voice of men of faith will arise, because unlike what happened in the Second Era, now I will not be alone.
The blind man to whom Jesus restored his sight, will shout at the top of his voice that he has seen the light; the dead will rise and bear witness of my truth. The sensitive heart of the woman will be faithful to me and the men of strong spirit will be the new Cyrenees.
Mary will not be absent or oblivious to any of my steps, and her Celestial Spirit will follow me everywhere, because Christ and Mary, before coming to Earth, have been One with the Father.
Humanity, humanity, today could not say as in that time: "Father, forgive them because they do not know what they do", because there is not one who has not drunk the blood of the Lamb, that which is light, truth and life.
One moment was enough for Dimas to save himself, and that was the last of his life; He spoke to me from his cross, and despite seeing that Jesus, who called himself the Son of God, was in agony, he felt that he was the Messiah, the Savior and to Him he gave himself with all repentance of his heart and with all the humility of his spirit, that is why I promised him Paradise for that very day.
I tell you, that everyone who unconsciously goes on sinning, but at the end of his life speaks to me with his heart full of humility and faith, I will make him feel the tenderness of my charity, which will raise him from the miseries of the Earth, to make him know the delights of a noble and elevated life.
I left you Mary at the foot of the cross, on the mountain that collected my blood and the tears of the Mother. There she stayed waiting for her children, because it will be She who takes the cross from their shoulders and points them to the path of Glory.
I am thirsty, I told that mob that did not understand my words rather they enjoyed my agony. What can I tell you now when I see that it is not a mob, but that it is the whole world that hurts my Spirit without realizing my pain?
My thirst is infinite, incomprehensible, and only your love can quench it; Why do you offer me an exterior worship instead of love? Don't you know I ask you for water, are you offering me gall and vinegar?
In spite of my chalice being so bitter at this time, my cross so bloody and my loneliness so great, you will not hear me exclaim: "My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?" Because that proof that Jesus gave you showing that his Pain was human and real, today I will not give it to you because I come in Spirit.
Jesus is the Master and He gave you lessons until the last moment. When that moment came and he saw his work completed, He humbly offered his Father, saying: "Everything is consummating."
The Way, the Truth and the Life, ended his mission with a prayer of seven words, saying at the end: In your hands I commend my Spirit.
All of Jesus' life was an offering of love to the Father. The hours of his agony on the cross were a prayer of love, intercession and forgiveness.
That is the path that I came to point out to you, humanity. Live imitating your Master and I promise to take you to my bosom, which is the source of all happiness.

My peace be with you.

We are only made perfect though Christ, not by law or the flesh. But the Lord tells us what to do with the saved, clean person God has created, God does not want us to willingly go back to the sin God has eliminated from our life. We are told to repent, we cannot repent of something we know nothing about. We need to know what we are repenting of.
That’s why the Holy Spirit was sent…to convict of sin. Perhaps you have never experienced that from Him?

John 14:15 (If ye love me, keep my commandments.) , is not questioning why you love God it is showing what you should do as a result of loving Him.

I love Him because He first loved me and i aim to keep His commandments as a result. Not to be saved but because i am saved. Because Jesus loves me i am motivated to obey his law. i am not trying to gain salvation i'm keeping the law because i love Jesus and delight in the law of love.
Psa_119:77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Psa_119:174 I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
Rom_7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Jas 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Jas 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Jas 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Which ones of over 613 do you keep?
Or be more specific, which commandments are you referring to?

Each verse you just quoted that pertains to eternal life is to Israel . Like Matthew 19 . Thats why you will not see a verse from Paul that says such a thing
you mean you won't find Paul saying anything about keeping commandments, or you won't find Paul saying anything about eternal life?
because, un, Romans 6:23 for example ((regarding eternal life)).
in re: keeping the commandments, tho, i agree that @TMS is quoting Matthew 19 without comprehending the context of Matthew 19. the 'rich young ruler' that approaches Christ does not believe in Him: therefore the only way that man can have life is if he perfectly obeys the law -- which we know isn't going to produce righteousness, per Galatians 2:21 explicitly. Christ isn't saying that life and righteousness are by the law -- he would be contradicting Himself, since He is the one who taught Paul what Paul wrote in the letter to the Galatians. that's why Christ asks him why he's calling Him good? Christ is giving him all the prodding and evidence he ought to need to recognize that it's God this man is talking to, not just some wise rabbi.
1 John & Revelation are a little harder to deal with - until we look at John 13 & Hebrews 8 and realize that it's not about the law of Moses, but, as James puts it, the law of our King. 1 John 2:7 tells us this specifically, in case we're not wise enough to sort it out by believing all the other scripture. ;)

Blik doesn't believe we keep the law for salvation; she simply loves His law, and sees righteousness in it.

you won't find anywhere in scripture anyone but Satan telling us we should hate the law.

Over and over posters say God favors the Israelites with His word, we are excluded, yet scripture tells us this is not so.

Romans 2": 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism.
