No a believer should ( myself included) Understand what we are to do as a believer now we have salvation. Following the 613 commandments is not the goal . Take any epistle from Paul and show me the examples in which it say s following the law is the goal ? Now you may think that this means a believer ' ignores ' the laws ,doesn't seek to understand them in context and such . No . Even Children grow out of the 'laws 'in which their parents gave and seek what those 'laws '/ 'rules ''guidance ''instructions 'pointed to ,or were about . Like the ' Zombie analogy ' i gave . There's rules that say we are not to chop peoples arms off . Its against the law . But when bitten by a zombie ,its time to operate under a higher principle . To chop that arm off before the infection spreads . To save a life . Again. A Christian is not UNDER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@@!!!!!!!@under.com!!!!!!! The law .
You potentially would be inept during a zombie invasion ,because your stuck on level 1/ the thing / the finger pointing/ the sign . You wouldn't know what to do ,be act ,think .

The Lord doesn't mince words, the Lord puts it all in order, as parents do as they show children how to live good successful lives.

The Lord puts faith first, front and center. Then comes forgiveness of our sin. Then there is much training we receive on how to live that righteous life the Lord has bestowed on us. That is where the law comes in. You cannot put the cart before the horse. No parent would let a child grow without law, and our God does not let us grow without guidance.

A Christian is not to have 'training wheels on 'Hes not UNDER the law . What he has is better than what the law could do . The law is for the ungodly .

But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(Gal 3:23-26)

Habakkuk 2:4 (KJV) Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Romans 1:17 (KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Galatians 3:11 (KJV) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

Hebrews 10:38 (KJV) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.


Galatians 3:12 (KJV) And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Looks like you must choose to live your life according to the law or live by faith. The latter is the tougher way, believe it or not.

it tells us soooo much about Jesus, and who He is to us, and what righteousness looks like, in the heart :)

Like I said, she doesn't love it, if she did, she would lift up the One to whom it testifies of more than she does of the law. Do you see Paul running around lifting high the Torah?

So is the law for you then, are you so Godly you don't need your God to tell YOU what to do and not do?

As for me, I do my best to follow my Lord and I still often fail. I need Christ, but if you are Godly, you won't need Him.

In Romans alone there are 84 quotes of the old testament. You really need to study your bible.

How are you able to have faith in the Lord for you to live by and no faith at all in how the Lord tells you to live with Him in you? Are you able to have faith in God and no faith in any of His word except that He will forgive sins? But then the law tells you of your sin, and you say you will have nothing to do with the law, so how are you going to ask for forgiveness of the sin you deny exists?

What's that prove as Paul, for the most part is making his case for faith in Christ Jesus, not works of the law. Perhaps you ought to quit trying to usurp authority over men. No honourable women in the OT did.

Kindergarten stuff. The law tells you what you must do. Faith feeds on the promises of God enjoining us to trust Him. We are thrown into situations the Pharisees don't dare to go, yet still praising and trusting Him. Read Hebrews 11 for a refresher course.

That is exactly why this post, it is about the love God has for us. That love is expressed in countless ways. God's mercy is so vast it is almost beyond our ability to think of it. And one way that the Lord gives this mercy, love, and forgiveness is through the law.

Living in disobedience to law is to put ourselves out of the reach of God in our lives, it is to separate ourselves from the Lord. Disobedience leads to bondage for to live with sin in our lives is to live in bondage to sin. The law tells us how to draw close to Him in our everyday lives.

We know to draw close to God through God's forgiveness of our sin. After forgiveness, we are to learn to live in the righteousness that forgiveness has earned for us.
