Hm. So separation of church and state only applies when convenient to the state, eh?
Politicians have no business telling any church what to do. But ever since the start of the Scamdemic, they have targeted churches. Those congressman have absolutely no business trying to defend pro-abortionists (or any other evildoer).

As to the Catholic issues, dealing with abortionist (or extortionist) Catholics was long overdue. The problem is that the RCC has not consistently addressed the sins within that church. Biden should have been excommunicated decades ago, And all the priests and bishops involved in sexual shenanigans should also have been dealt with.

Not that I believe the Roman Catholic "church" to be Christian.

Maybe this might convince you otherwise

I am with the RCC on this. If they are Catholic and they are supporting the murder of unborn children then they should be denied communion. What politicians do and support affects the lives of everyone in the nation.

Ive always figured that the "church" taught that God, through power to the priest, turned the wafer into flesh and the blood into wine. So. Does the pedophile priest have access to this power? Or if God withholds this power due to the priests sin what happens at communion?

Another example of unedifying disputes that give Christianity a bad name. Not that I believe the Roman Catholic "church" to be Christian. Most people do, so the end result is the same. When Roman Catholicism gets its own house in order, they may have the right to lecture others.
i dont see the non Catholic "churches" so called doing any better

they actually do much worse in many ways... There is more child molestation in Protestant communities than in Catholic.. heard that from not just one news source... and of course I don't watch fake news or read fake newspapers

What about the protestant minister who is addicted to pornograghy and an adulterer? Does God still work through him?

Your line of reasoning simply shows a confirmation bias towards anti Catholicism rather than toward the actual subject of this post, which is whether politicians who are supporting abortion. This is something I would expect any Christian to have an issue with, so should they be allowed to receive holy communion, which is Catholicism's most holy sacrament? If we allow them to, what message does that send?

Protestants dont say "hocus pocus" and turn a cracker into flesh. My question was what happens to the cracker if the priest was a pedo? Hypothetical question of course because everyone knows the "church" wouldnt hide such people within the system.

I can see your heart is hardened against us and therefore there is little point in arguing.

I believe in miracles. Do you?

May Jesus be with you always and peace be with you 🙂

Totally agree. This is an issue every single Christian should be able to say they stand against. Abortion is the greatest sin of America. Let's agree there is sin in both camps. But the issue of the OP as you said is abortion. There are things I agree with in the Catholic church and things I disagree with. But one thing I admire the most is their stand against abortion. Protestants, evangelicals need to get behind that push. I don't know of any more serious issue in politics today than the murder of the unborn.

Catholics take a firm stand against abortion, and I admire them for that, all of us should do the same. It ought to be foremost in our mind when voting. A Christian should never vote anyone in that supports abortion.

No, I totally disagree. The Catholics are right on this one. A whole group of evangelicals that voted for Biden came out and pretended to be shocked at his abortion stance, like he lied to them. Abortion is probably the most important issue when voting for a candidate. Biden has been fronted as a good Catholic, a good man as opposed to Trump. A good moral, church going sort. Yet he supports abortion. No, the Catholics are right, he shouldn't be allowed communion.

Miracles happen yes. But the only miracle in mass is how people fall for the hicus pocus.

Was the point of this thread to talk about government trying to impose itself onto religion? Or was the point just to bash Catholicism again? I seriously do not get why Christians insist on fighting their brothers instead of the enemy. I mean I get it - you hate the Catholic church. Got it. But last I checked, Catholics aren't in favor of abortion and they're trying to take a bit of a stand against it. Yet most of your posts in your own thread are just about how stupid Catholics are. What's the point?

At the same time, this should not have become a matter for public debate. He simply needed a private letter from the archbishop or the pope informing him that he had been excommunicated. Now he has evildoers trying to defend him in this matter, as they have been defending him for all his evil deeds. When is he going to be arrested and hauled off for occupying the WH illegally?

I was replying to a post and the catholic defender jumped on and ,like you, started defending catholics. Sorry if the truth hurts your feelings.
