u wrote too much for the time I had
and yes, i am very busy most of the time and do not have my own computer.. have 2 depend on the charity of others who have one..
But I should be ready to respond to your whole post in... say, 2 minutes?
ok, I have read it
I do not agree w/ your assessment of socialism. I do not believe in unfettered capitalism either, but even unfettered capitalism is far superior to socialism..
socialists are destroying our country (USA)
If conservatives do not fight this with all they have... we are doomed.. and one day we will all look back nostalgically to the days long ago when we had (not only capitalism) but FREEDOM (that comes from that kind of system)
Your country spends or at least used to spend 300 billion on the military as opposed to 2 or 3 billion dollars for human development areas like education and health care. This was way back in 2008 or 2009. By now it will be way more for your military.
The wage inequality between the have nots and those who have is widening more and more in The USA since the Ronald Reagan reforms.
I will talk more simply so that you would understand.
United States is considered the model for capitalism in the world among all countries.
For such a developed country and superpower, do all your people have access to affordable and equitable education? No they do not.
Do they have access to affordable healthcare? Can all the people of your country afford healthcare when they are sick? No they cannot.
Then what good is such a freedom? where is the freedom for such people who really need that help? Such an economy is bound to come to a standstill and a demand for reforms.
That's the socialism I'm talking about. That is the socialism that's necessary. That's also the socialism that Jesus himself would want.
("I was Hungry and you gave me to eat. Thirsty and you gave me to drink. Sick and in prison and you visited me. Now enter into my kingdom"
People: Lord when did we see you hungry, thirsty ... when did we do these things?"
Jesus: " Whenever you did this to the least of my brethren, you did it to me")
AND
(Jesus would say to the bad people:
"Depart from me you cursed. For I was Hungry..... You will be cast into the eternal fire."
The evil people: Lord when did we see you hungry, thirsty, naked, sick or in prison.....
Jesus: Whenever you did not do it to the least of these you did it to me.)
This is something that Jesus Himself talks about in the Bible. Read the Gospel of Matthew. This is one of the main ways if not the main way of God's judgement on all people.
It's okay if you don't agree. We need not agree on our views as long as we can show each other what we really want to convey to one another clearly.
