It’s nice to talk to you and meet you on here I need to get focused on my life and I pray that you will understand why that I’m leaving it’s best for me and my Heath to get my life started I have a dream to get my Country music dream started now I’m moving to Nashville and I’m so excited about starting my own journey I have dreamed about this my entire life,
I'm currently living in Nashville...
Let me explain something...
I know many people in the music business.
First thing you need to do is have a place to live... housing and affordable apartments here are very difficult to come by.

Then you probably have a demo tape/CD/thumb drive. Get a sample website too. Business cards with it's address is important.

Then go make friends... thousands upon thousands of them. Before any publishing company will have anything to do with you you need an established fan base of 30,000 fans.

Agents and promotion companies and publicists and SM publicists and then a team of lawyers...then there's the makeup and fashion/wardrobe people.

And then after all that craziness you begin to wonder if you can ever get away without "singing for your supper". The fans certainly won't allow it.

But out of most that I see getting promoted.... gotta be barbie doll pretty, talented beyond measure, have a unique sound, seem personable, and take direction well... you almost have to sell your soul to the devil these days before a music house will have anything to do with you...and this is after having a life on the road for a few years.

But that's what is required.

But the first step of finding a place to live? Today that's the hardest part.

If you could get involved with a contemporary Christian Country music sound... that's a much underrepresented area... someone singing about something other than beer and tractors and the non-existent farm and "Mamma" or "Daddy".

Trust me when I say that some of the most popular people in country music are not decent human beings. On stage or behind the scenes.

Contemporary Christian music is crossing over into pop culture and doing well... especially when they are talented and well trained in music arts.

Like I said...I know peeps here. Those who have saved some money are doing ok...the rest are currently broke. The concerts died with the pandemic. So did the musicians income.

Are guys mad at me or excited for me
Well I live here...it's not that exciting for me. We have 80-90 people each day moving to Nashville TN...it's been that way for a while now. They have built apartments and subdivisions...lots of them but they are full or extremely expensive.

Just saying.
My son had to go clear out to Gallatin to find an apartment and he is a loan officer for a bank.

And then there's "Fan Fair" coming... gonna be huge this year. But the Music Makers go into hiding because of it.
Fan clubs are huge...they rent a bunch of venues.

And if you tour the Country Music Hall of Fame tell Buddy the tour guide I said "hey"...I seen him at church last Sunday but didn't get a chance to holler at him. He sounds like he's homosexual or something but he is as straight as an arrow. He has a cat named Loretta...he is all about country music. He knows a TON of people, contacts, and peeps...a lot more than I ever want to or could. He's hosted many at his place...
