Jesus tells us we must forgive as we have been forgiven

As long as anyone holds bitterness and unforgiveness in their hearts, then they are only harming themselves.

They are not walking in the Spirit or in the newness of life. They are not pleasing to God. He said forgive and you shall be forgiven.

As long as someone holds on to these emotions, they are not walking in the Spirit and will not be able to have the joy and peace of the Spirit in their lives.

Galatians 5:22-23

King James Version

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The most difficult thing is to forgive. Can you forgive those who bullied you in school, a violent father, a friend who betrayed you, church members who’ve exploited you, etc. We search our hearts, and find we cannot forgive.

Only God can help us forgive...and forget.

Even if we say we forgive, can we ever forget?
God forgives and forgets. Heb 8:8-12, New Covenant.

We can do nothing in our own strength. All of our righteousness is but filthy rags. However, we have a savior who has overcome all sin for us and has set us free from the curse of the flesh.

If we say we believe in Him...then we must believe that he is able to make us overcomers. We must believe that he is able to set us free. Scripture says that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. He broke the curse and the chains of sin so that we can be set free from it. Sin has no more power over us.

The thing about it is...not many people seem to want to overcome sin and the flesh. They want to sit right down in it and walk in the flesh.... Trying to make excuses for it.

On the other hand, there are others who think that they can somehow overcome it by themselves or in their own strength. Both of these are faulty thinking and wrong attitudes.

We are no longer slaves to emotions and sin. Jesus has set us free so we all need to learn to walk in Him and the Spirit. That is the only way that we can overcome and have the fruits of the Spirit in our lives.

So we can choose to walk in the flesh and suffer for it, or we can accept the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ and walk in the newness of life with Him being set free through Him.

I have forgiven what some would consider the unforgivable. I know what I am talking about. As has been said by others, this can be a process, but God knows and understands

People sometimes assume forgiveness means no memory or sadness.

Normaly when you have unforgiveness in your heart, its related to something That has upset you, It may not be unforgiveness you have but a period of upset and sadness in your heart.
The danger is the enemy has a chance to decieve here as the enemy dont want the fruits to shine in a persons heart,
The enemy can decieve Quite easily in this instance by reminding a person continuosly of an upsetting event in the hope he can arouse anger or bitterness or anxiety and even twist your thoughts on how you should react to upsetting events.

Its even sadder that people will get labelled bitter as a result or a person may think theres something wrong with there walk because they keep getting theese thought of bitterness or resentment, the enemy once again goes unoticed in both situations.

I think most people dont want to be reminded of upsetting events, so this is a clue if you keep getting reminded it may be coming from a denomic spirit, I think its one of the biggest problems in our walk and society

Its even sadder for people who go through there lifes having sufferd many many upsetting events and dont know about how the enemy can remind them and take control of there thoughts, This is also true for christians not knowing there being decieved by the enemy.

I can not agree fully here with what you say because of what the enemy a denomic spirit can do to a persons heart. I personaly think forgivness only comes easy once you know all the ways of the enemy.

I understand fully what your saying but more often than not from what i have read also right across theese forums i dont see enough people being to concerned on how the enemy could be effecting peoples thoughts here and a lot off finger pointing goes on where they start to blame each other or question the person walk or there fruits.

Personaly i dont think the enemy is mentioned enough in scripture about how our emotions can be controlled by denomic spirits, I think if it was these forums would be full of more friendship and prayer for each other. rather than petty endless debates that lead to divison,

Not on your part as i dont know you and you sound like a nice person so im not upset with you more with scripture over this.

Ive found that in almost every scripture there is a battle going on bewteen Good and evil.
But in alot of scripture the how part is missing. Like how the enemy can possess your thoughts which lead to emotions being disturbed.

The wisdom is there on how to completely overcome the enemy and how to identify but that wisdom is seperated all over the bible. I my self didnt fully identify all the enemies ways untill at least 15 years and in some ways oh well my whole life.
Its not something that upsets me anymore. But it is a bit like working for an employer doing your best and just getting mistreated for your best efforts.

You know like doing your best and one day you make a mistake the next day your out of favor.

Its upsetting to say the least,

or the feeling of being used. the enemy is so sneaky and can make you feal this way by twisting your thoughts.
The trick is to Give for Giving. Everthing is a free gift. it just a shame its not that way in the world or we would all be equal. which is another vanity we can fall short of when that jelouse tempter comes along.

You know the feeling There you are working hard and some smug tells you i earn 10 times as much as you and i dont have to lift a finger. Or arrrrrrrrrr all that work you doo and look how much money your getting compared to others..
Or who does that guy think he is making fun out of me.
They say vanity is the devils favorite weakness on our part that leads to pride but what they dont say is when and where it will hit.

Of corse we have being gracious for what we have and being humble and being kind is a star Quality and proof your walking in the spirit
That will enable you to forgive vanity.
But thats Just it we dont know how to forgive vanity when our thoughts are being controled,, its always to late because i may just have just flirted and caused the wrong impression that triggered an over whelming thought.

Again most of theese thoughts could have come from a denomic spirit as there wierd this way. and none of you guys would have spotted it

If we decide to keep forgiveness away from our fellow humans, we are trying to take the place of God in their lives, a terrible thing to do. It is God's place to judge, not our place.

Perhaps because demons don't control people's emotions. They can influence, but not control.
Outside of possession demons cannot make people do anything. Only manipulate them. But, ultimately, it's still each person's choice to give in or not.

And you're upset with God for not spending more time discussing this?

Dont agree with you sorry. Ive been denomicaly attacked all my life even as young boy from a verry young age. they can seariously mess up a persons mind. They can even inflict pain in a persons body, have you ever heard of inflicting spirits.
They can quite easily cause a chemical inbalance in the mind and take over a person mind.
Cause fear upset panick they can bully a persons mind there whole life and there every where causing afliction to people all over the world. and they can possess anybody at any time.

I Did not have time yesterday to quote you that you dont believe that thoughts dont control emotions.

Let the scripture speak for its self on this matter.

I dont want to cause any fear. Because i know fear is physical condition, A lot of people dont even realise that fear is a physical condition.
When your get a worrying thought you can panic or develop anxiety.
Anxiety can be so bad that you can pass out or struggle to breath.
More over a person can develop a troubled mind if being made to worry every day.

Experiancing Joy is a physical condition not just a mental condition.
For instance let say we sing quietly too our selfs for a couple of hours quietly and lovingly and to our best ability,, It wont be to long befor riches from your heart fill your mind with joy peace and control.

On the flip side lets say we talk about fear or evil for two hours, befor too long the mind can lose control because of panic or weariness or doubt.
This is how demons work to keep control of a person they use fearmongering tactics on a persons mind to break them down to take control.
Why do they do this well one of the fruits of spirit in our heart is control. So if we control the nature of Joy from our hearts by singing we fill our selfs with warmth.
If we lose control of our nature we can be overcome

And i can tell you i practice this every day now. and it works. Its block demons and casts them out. I have felt them leave my body hundreds of times and seen them.
I have researched everywhere for the last 6 years of my life. trying to beat them.
I now have great success. I have studied Psychology too for the last 2 years and i really do know what im talking about.

Here is more overwhelming eveidence that demons control emotions.

Those who were possessed by demons in Scripture showed certain symptoms. They include the following:

1. Cannot Control Themselves

A person who is under the control of a demon cannot control themselves. The evil spirit is able to speak through their lips or can make them mute as it so desires. Scripture gives examples of demon-possessed people who were mute.
And when the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke: and the multitudes marveled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel (Matthew 9:33).

Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a demon, blind and mute: and He healed him, in so much that the mute man spoke and saw (Matthew 12:22).

We also find demons speaking through people.
Just then there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, "What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are, the Holy One of God" (Mark 1:23-24).

2. New Personality

Demon-possession means that a new personality is introduced to that person - the victim becomes a different person. The Gadarene demoniac acted and spoke as one who was controlled by another personality
Suddenly they shouted, "What have you to do with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?" (Matthew 8:29).

3. Different Voice

Sometimes those who are demon-possessed speak with a different voice. On one occasion, when Jesus asked the name of the demon, the demon spoke through the man and said:
And He asked him, What is your name? And he said unto Him, My name is Legion; for we are many (Mark 5:9).

4. Supernatural Knowledge

In one incident, the demons speaking through a man, immediately recognized Jesus as the Messiah.
Just then there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, "What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are, the Holy One of God" (Mark 1:23-24).

This understanding of Jesus' identity came from supernatural knowledge. For at this time, Jesus had not yet revealed Himself to His disciples, or to the world, as the promised Messiah.

5. New Abilities

A person who is demon-possessed acquires new abilities. For example, those possessed by demons can demonstrate superhuman strength. The Bible speaks of one demoniac in the following way.
He had often been restrained with shackles and chains, but the chains he wrenched apart, and the shackles he broke in pieces; and no one had the strength to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and on the mountains he was always howling and bruising himself with stones (Mark 5:4,5).

6. Suicidal Tendencies

Demon possession can lead to suicidal tendencies. The Bible says of one person who was demon-possessed.
It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us (Mark 9:22).

It seems that demons want to physically destroy the person they possess.

The New Testament tells us some of the signs of demon possession The demons are able to speak through their victims, they can demonstrate new abilities, show different personalities, and exhibit suicidal tendencies. The main thing to understand is that demon-possessed people are controlled by this demonic presence. Though the symptoms may look like mere psychological dysfunction, in actuality, the problem is demon-possession

If you are not walking in the Spirit, then you are walking in the flesh. Yes, the flesh can be influenced by the enemy and will most definitely be influenced by the enemy if we don't walk in the Spirit and follow the instructions given in the scripture.

The scripture is pretty clear in this area. It doesn't leave us defenseless or ignorant to the ways of the enemy. The enemy walks about as a roaring lion seeking who he may devour and we are to rebuke him and he will flee. Also we are told to put on the whole armor of God.

Jesus has cleansed us and set us free. In order to walk in the Spirit with him then we need to keep our minds and hearts upon him. Bring every thought into subjection to Him, rebuke the enemy, put on the whole armor of God.

There is no need to be upset with the scripture. Scripture has fully furnished us with how to identify sin, the enemy, the works of the flesh and also tells us how to deal with it and overcome through Jesus Christ.

This is all Good advice and every word is true.
All tho its not as easy as you make it sound and especially not easy for those who dont know all the wisdom of the bible. People who read the bible think they do but then why Did Jesus tell a load of bible following people to practice what they preach..

The enemy is not only walking around like roaring lion looking to devour. the enemy is invisible to the naked eye most of the time, and also pretends to be an angel of light, quite easily decieving people by playing God also inside a persons mind. and where not just talking about one bad spirit that is bad here but a whole army of them this way.

Jesus told us to take every thought captive, and with good reason. but can i honestly say that i do that all the time or can you.
The main reason i feal Jesus told us to take every thought captive is Jesus told us the battle we all must win is against spiritual wicked forces and not against each other.

But here i am again having to prove that my walk is ok when i talk about being attacked by spiritual wicked forces, but thats ok i dont mind.
I here christians say this shouldnt happen if your walking in the spirit but how wrong they are. do you ever say the first thought that comes in your head,
I see no talking in this forum about this either about the most important teachings of Jesus, on how to over come demons.
Far to many christians think you must not be a proper christian or not have Jesus if your being possesed by a demon.
Is it no wonder where all at war with each other when the main teachings of Jesus on how we should help each other to over come demons some how becomes the christians fault.
Jesus had to warn His deciples over and over again as its a daily battle. And even Jesus was tempted by a demon. He overcame because he was a master.
Has ever christian reached master level ??
and it is hard to peice all the infomation togeather because it is seperated all over the bible and i do feal i have good cause to be upset over that.. the bible even apolagizes to us for that, when we read in mark a scripture says all tho Jesus never explained in full when he spoke to crowds in parables he did how ever explain in full to his deciples.

I think i have every right to be upset about this as a christian and im not upset with Jesus Or God or the spirit.
God knows my heart. God knows im upset about how christians do not help each other enough in this matter when they should be.
Im not an unbeliever.
I pray all time and sing to God all the time
I keep clean and tidy all the time
I love my Family and friends and watch over them and spiritualy i Guide them
I live my life accordingly to God, i write songs all the time about the heavens.
I dj in peoples houses new christian songs i pray for people publicy and proclaim Gods word. I have devoted my life to God. I always look to God for guidance.
I go to church often. I study scripture often. and im thankful to Jesus formy Gifts

But i still cant stop a demon possessing me while i am a sleep and waking up first thing of a morning fealing un well in spirit and mind. can you stop that ?

The only way to get them out of my mind and out of my body is to sing for 2 hours.
Every morning is the same, I get denomicaly attacked as im singing too
Untill the riches in my heart fill my Body and it flees..Other times i pull one out of body in seconds as soon as i wake, by using something called the Bow or a cross or looking into certain colours of light,,, I know in my heart i have been trained by the holy spirit daily on how to over come them. I know in my heart i have been taken to heaven I know in my heart i have been getting Guidance of where to go in scripture on how we overcome and how they over come. i know in my Heart i have been Given a gift to defeat them and to identify them. To know where they are to see them and to sence them..

many other people Good Good people have told stories about being pinned to there
bed for days or suffering pain from inflicting spirits.
So why is this subject red flagged all over the world by so many?
I have even commanded an evil spirit out of a friend and watched it flee silently with out saying a word with a pure blue saphire i know is blessed.
The suffering she was in befor that happend was sad to see Here mood was changing from upset to anger
she was in a total state of trauma and anxiety to, In a blink of an eye she was fine.

Why are so many people mentaly ill in the world

why are there so many people addicted to drugs in the world,

Why well its because the enemy is ruling this world and because the pieces are broken and scattered for many a poor soul. Our battle is against the rulers of this world and we as christians should take a stand.

Well i can tell it can take 15 to 30 years years to fully learn the bible.

Thats a long time for some one being opressed by a demon as you also need to learn Psychology to totaly overcome demons..

And then well there social media that never talk about the most important teaching of Jesus christ. The whole world is blind.

And we need the return Of Jesus Christ soon.
