No...this explains it much better....

Matthew 23:8
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

You picked the wrong person for your foolishness.

Matthew 23:8
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

If you disobey it...you have not the Father or the Son.

I love it. Jesus is awesome.

Alright folks, a talking cat has derailed a thread. Whether he's "saved, not sure or in between" that's between him and his maker. It's ignorant to derail a thread. So let's get back to the subject at hand.

It may be theologically debated on rather a Christian should support Israel. However, no matter what side you take, Israel will still be prophetically standing for the Revelation events to occur. Israel should be supported politically because they are the only nation in that region that promotes human rights, religious freedom, and a Democratic system of government where the people have the freedom to vote. Their counterintelligence on terrorist organizations is crucial for national security for America and our allies. Due to our aligned beliefs on religious freedom, human rights, and defense from terrorism, many in the middle east consider Israel and America the same. Both infidels and worthy of destruction.

Theologically it is debated because some believe the Old Testament verses like this one below to be obsolete.

Genesis 12:2-3
New International Version
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

This is just my interpretation, but I know for a fact that nowhere else in scripture does it counter this promise. Nowhere is it canceled. The bottom portion of verse 3 was completed in Jesus Christ as all people on the Earth were blessed through Jesus's sacrifice. As for the fulfillment of the Old Testament, this is related to the demands of the Mosaic ceremonial laws, judicial laws, and completion of Old Testament prophecy.

I do not see where the promise of I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, stops from being true.
Amen . . . . . . . . . . . . .

My answer to the question was yes. Not only for Biblical reasons, but historical reasons. I believe the land belongs to Israel. Interested to see more opinions on the subject.
The land belongs to God. To which He is going to destroy by fire.

And in 1948 God brought them back as he promised HE would. Yet they are still just as ungodly as they were before.

But they will not always be ungodly.

Jeremiah 24:7

7 Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

We are all Gods people by faith.

Rom 11:15 For if the casting away of them (Jews) be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

It isn't about bloodline but about faith.

Support Israel? Yes or No? And Why?

Well, that would depend greatly upon what is meant by your use of 'Israel'? Spiritual Israel - the biblical context of which I understand to mean "the Tree containing natural (Hebrew) and grafted (Gentile) branches"? The answer is of course, Yes!Israel-Tree.jpg

Geographical Israel? The answer is of course, Yes. Clearly the lands described in the Bible have a special place in God's plan.

Political Israel? This answer is highly problematic. Modern political Israel was created as, and seems to have remained, a Rothschild client state. And the Rothschilds serve the synagogue of Satan.

And? Your words either confirm or betray your claims anyway. Since you claim to be "unsure", you are either a lying Christian or a knowledgeable unbeliever, and in either case, you have no credibility when it comes to biblical truth.

That's a lot of unfriendly speculation / accusations.

Interesting. Doesn't geography necessitate the political? Borders, trade, treaties etc.

And names too. As in Palestine, Israel, Levant, etc

Point being, there are disturbing questions regarding the political formation and governance of the modern state of Israel

Sometimes, it seems God uses some odd characters to accomplish His plans:

"28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid." - Isaiah 44
