This is nothing more than a timing issue in your body. When you sleep there's a point where your body goes into a paralysis mode naturally. For some, when they wake up their mind doesn't disengage that paralysis right away.
It can be hard to differentiate natural causes from demonic. Some people have mental issues resulting from infections, brain damage or even vitamin deficiency. It can also be demons, for example the man possessed by the Legion (around 5,000). The trick is to find out the root cause. I know a Christian who has quite severe mental episodes. We are still not sure if it is physical (she's nearly 69) or a straight out demonic attack.
That is what my friend told me, but she also said I would see other being(s). For awhile I had some sleep paralysis in my arms, I would to wake up and shake my arms fast to get them to move, but I did not see other being(s). I think mine was more a circulation/sleep timing issue.

I think you're probably correct.
BUT... I do think one of Satan's greatest deceptions has been to convince people he doesn't exist. I think it probably doesn't hurt to keep it in the back of your mind as being at least a possibility. At least if we do that, then we're more likely to cry out to God for relief in addition to whatever cure the doctor prescribes.
It is still the adversary who steals health, as is his only work to steal, kill and destroy.
He may disguise it as a vitamin deficiency, genetic abnormality, etc.
In my experience with these, I would say yes. Most of mine were linked to spiritual experiences, but always there was fear - a terrible fear of a nearby, unseen-but-felt presence. Always the fear subsided and presence departed with prayer. Once, it felt as if something grabbed my foot. Several times, the experience was accompanied (before or afterward, I can't remember) by (an apparent) floating of my body to the roof of my room (as if someone or something was trying to float me through the ceiling or window and away). Once, it seemed as if I were somewhere else, observing a woman shape-shift into some sort of werewolf/vampire, out of which a demon's head or dragon's face appeared, then a white-flash after I delayed to pray, and subsequent bed-bound paralysis. Throughout most of the severe episodes, I was interested in a woman claiming to be a Christian who I now believe was linked to the occult.
