I said i think does not imply you dont as i dont have a clue if you do lol
I've scoured the Bible, Word by Word, highlighting each thought or concept per sentence with a different color of highlight. I am trying to read the Bible twice per year in a chronological, timeline format so as to fully understand the actual story that IS the Bible.
In my thousands of hours of cataloging and organizing God's Holy Word, I have found that only second to grasping the Lord's Almighty Power, there is nothing more important to know and understand, more so than Colossian 2:9-15. Genesis 3:22-24 is the image of Christ on the cross, as described in Colossians 2:9-15. To make this link is to begin to understand that Paul was right, that there is a "Mysterious Plan" that must be fulfilled, and that Plan is only given to those who NEVER STOP asking, seeking, and knocking. If our minds are shut and we think we're the knowledge source for all things Scriptural, we've likely stopped our asking, seeking, and knocking. And if that's the case . . . "Get away from me, for I have never known you."
Reboot!
Become an investigator and try to figure out what Paul is talking about. No one ever talks about this . . . and that's because few understand the "Mysterious Plan of God."
Ephesians 3:1-13 NLT - "When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles . . . 2 assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles. 3 As I briefly wrote earlier, God himself revealed his mysterious plan to me. 4 As you read what I have written, you will understand my insight into this plan regarding Christ. 5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets. 6 And this is God's plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God's children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus. 7 By God's grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News. 8 Though I am the least deserving of all God's people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. 9 I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning. 10 God's purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence. 13 So please don't lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored."
Ephesians 2:10-16 NLT - "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. 11 Don't forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called "uncircumcised heathens" by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts. 12 In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. 13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. 14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. 15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. 16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death."
The Bible is one, big, massive puzzle for each of us to figure out and understand . . . and when we do, it is life-changing! So I have given the biggest clue that you need for gaining insight to the real Plan of God. That Tree of Life in the Garden is a picture of Christ on the Cross. And when you begin reading the Bible from the beginning, you'll begin running into unbelievable passages such as,
Deuteronomy 21:23 CSB - "you are not to leave his corpse on the tree overnight but are to bury him that day, for anyone hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not defile the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance."
And the Deut passage is a fulfillment of . . .
Galatians 3:13 NLT - "But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."
To see that the Bible is a story that revolves around this "plot" is just incredible. It is the most mind-boggling set of writings ever imagined. To get this Plan into the marrow of a person's bones, that person will know, automatically, that it is impossible for any human to write this material without the Plan of God having already been pre-written upon Heavenly Scrolls. And these are Scrolls that cannot be altered . . . impossible. The Plan of God, these Heavenly Scrolls . . . they [will be] fulfilled.
Isaiah 34:14-16 NIV - "Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also lie down and find for themselves places of rest. 15 The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate. 16 Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together."
