Because they didn't believe and we're therefore broken off.
In judgment they were broken off. Not in life. Jews are still coming to Christ as we speak. Not many due to God's blinding but the remnant are still coming in. Many believe also in the Revelation events that the Jews will have more time to repent during the tribulation period.

2/3 of the Jews in the land will be cut of and die, those numbers aren't going to change

Zachariah 13:8-9KJV

8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

It may be theologically debated on rather a Christian should support Israel. However, no matter what side you take, Israel will still be prophetically standing for the Revelation events to occur. Israel should be supported politically because they are the only nation in that region that promotes human rights, religious freedom, and a Democratic system of government where the people have the freedom to vote. Their counterintelligence on terrorist organizations is crucial for national security for America and our allies. Due to our aligned beliefs on religious freedom, human rights, and defense from terrorism, many in the middle east consider Israel and America the same. Both infidels and worthy of destruction.

Theologically it is debated because some believe the Old Testament verses like this one below to be obsolete.

Genesis 12:2-3
New International Version
2 “I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.”

This is just my interpretation, but I know for a fact that nowhere else in scripture does it counter this promise. Nowhere is it canceled. The bottom portion of verse 3 was completed in Jesus Christ as all people on the Earth were blessed through Jesus's sacrifice. As for the fulfillment of the Old Testament, this is related to the demands of the Mosaic ceremonial laws, judicial laws, and completion of Old Testament prophecy.

I do not see where the promise of I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, stops from being true.
Here is my take.
Christians should love and bless them after all they are the reason we were grafted in.

As a nation who bears the sword against evil, we should still to this day help defend Israel who not perfect but is prophetically still attached to verses like Genesis 12:3.
You mean Jesus is the reason we are grafted in.

Who are you referring to as "we should still to this day help defend Israel"?

We meaning the USA?
Or
We meaning the church?

Again in judgement and this is the people not the nation of Israel that I speak of needing to support. Why? Because ultimately as the antichrist surfaces, temple to be rebuilt, Israel the nation will be persicuted, invaded and eventually they will see Jesus as their Messiah.

Jeremiah 33:8
New International Version

8 I will cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against me and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against me.

I support God's plan for Israel. This very nation will be where Jesus reigns for 1000 years. God has more in store for Israel or technically He will complete what was promised to them but due to forseen rebellion, God grafted in the gentiles too.

You suggest "All" ethnic Jews will be saved?

Only the Remnant Chosen Elect will be saved, receiving Jesus Christ as Messiah and added to the Church, the rest are blinded.

Romans 11:5-7KJV
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Try Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I support Israel cause im a nationalist and I believe they should have that one small piece of land, they not asking for too much. Arabs got a ton of countries already. COME ON NOW
Israel sits on 1% of the land in the ME. You hit the nail on the head!! They have a right to a homeland and to be able to defend it. They have a right to a capitol.

I disagree. This is a blending of church and state. The pope a thousand years ago called for christians to take back and keep the 'promised land".

You bring forth a case of history not repeating itself, but history rhyming.

Jerusalem captured in First Crusade (1099)

to

Siege of Jerusalem (1187)
The siege of Jerusalem lasted from September 20 to October 2, 1187, when Balian of Ibelin surrendered the city to Saladin. The large golden Christian cross that had been placed over the Dome of the Rock by the Crusaders was pulled down and all Muslim prisoners of war taken by the Crusaders were released by Saladin.

That was 88 years of non-muslim rule in Jerusalem followed by muslim rule.

Today, The nation of israel today recently celebrated its 73 anniversary.
I am not making any future speculations though.

You are seeing it wrong. I gave political and Biblical reasons why a country and people should support Israel in the OP.

I never said all. I'm making a distinction between the individual Jew and Israel as a whole.

When Paul said "all Israel" I believe he meant every tribe of the 12 tribes. But only one-third of all Jews worldwide will actually be saved after the Second Coming of Christ. That will still be "all Israel" in that no tribe will be missed (not even Dan).

Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan. (Ezek 48:1)

Because Israel is a democratic country, sure I support that too.
Based on Bible there is nothing special about Israel anymore. That is where am.

I like to turn the question around. What is it that makes the world so hostile to Israel? For a start, it is a much smaller territory than originally envisaged by the Balfour declaration. It's a tiny nation not worthy of the attention it receives. Except that it is far greater in influence and power than the surrounding nations.

It seems obvious to me that Israel is the visible manifestation of God's power to fulfill His word and keep His promises. It should not exist, let alone prosper and succeed. Spiritually, Israel is as worldly as anywhere else. Many Jews are hostile to Christianity. That will change. Lord Jesus said that Israel would see Him when they said, "Blessed are they who come in the name of the Lord". That refers to Christians. So far, Israel does not exactly welcome evangelists and Jews certainly do not call Christians "Blessed".

Christians need to support Israel for one reason. It is God's will. The world hates Israel for exactly the same reason.

Do you pray for the enemies of the Kingdom of God?
"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you." - Luke 6:27-28

"All Israel" will be saved, when the very last person is added to the Church

The Church is the Israel of God

They Which Are The Children of The Flesh (Jews) These Are Not The Children Of God

Roman's 9:6-8KJV
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

This makes perfect sense to me. I completely agree. It's so obvious once you take those (((blinders))) off.

While it is true that Jesus is returning to Israel, no I do not think we should blindly support Jews and/or Israel. We should support them for the same reasons we support Taiwan or any other country surrounded by enemies (to support their national sovereignty), and to have U.S. influence in that region.
