Yes Gary the Baptist succession existed outside the Roman Catholic church throughout history, amongst other Christian traditions

Roman Catholicism wants to consider all believers outside their church protestants, this isnt true

why does it have to be protestant that disagrees with the RCC many RRC's have looked at the same Bible I have and came to the conclusion praying to Mary is unBiblical why is a protestant thing when pointing out an unbiblical practice of the RCC? it is the very word of God that tells it.
You say it’s unbiblical, I say you just interpret the verses we cite differently.

Romans Ch 12
5 We, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.

I believe this indicates all Christians are connected. When you die and go to heaven, you are still part of this mystical body with other Christians. If I can ask a Christian here to pray for me, then I should be able to do the same with our brothers and sisters in heaven. There is a lot more to this doctrine but that is the starting point of understanding it.

the Problem is God said to come to HIM through HIS Son and when a parent or person is seeking God in the time of Need they come to those who are supposed to the be knowing word of God praying effectively for the person and leading them to Christ.
So you don’t think we should ask other people to pray for us? We should only do praying for ourselves?

Ha, we all know she isn’t God. I’ve listened to people (not Catholics) ask their dead parents to watch over them before. If you are correct that the saints in heaven can’t hear us, then you basically talked to yourself for awhile. No harm done in it. I personally believe they can but I just don’t do it very often.
What verse in the Bible say Mary able to hear billion people pray to her?

Do you know the different between pray to and ask Mary to pray?

The title of that article is pope PRAY TO

Christ is the head of that body who has already established himself as the only mediator between God and men/women.
Nowhere in the word of God does it say to pray to dead saints. To pacify this unbiblical error and false teaching as " you don't have to do it is you don't want to", is so wrong.

it is not true. it is true but not the Truth. it is the greatest example of post-modernism in a church setting today right next to being gay and saved. masn has made himself authoritative over the very word of God it was an RCC Preist who pointed this error out.

You’re something else man. I don’t agree with you obviously. I hope you’re anti-Catholic point of view brings you closer to God.
I'm not anti "You" as a Catholic, but the teachings withing Catholicism are false, a salvation built upon works and the sacraments of the Church

Just A Few Examples In False Teachings Below

Is Jesus literally found in the sacrament both actual body and blood, the doctrine of transubstantiation? (NO)

Is there an actual place called purgatory, where prayers can be made to elevate this person to salvation to heaven, after death? (NO)

Is Roman Catholicism the one true church upon earth? (NO)

Is the Pope the Vicar Of Christ, the mediator between God and Man? (NO)

If you want me to pray for you I will do, but when I die, how I hear you?
If my dead father able to look at me, he will warn me when the thief stole my tv. I just lost it and my father not warn me

Pails? I believe you mean pales ;)

Well, as a Catholic, it is mandatory for you to believe the ex cathedra dogmas (there are only two and both are about Mary). Neither of these dogmas have any basis in Scripture, being both fanciful additions and contradicting what is actually and explicitly written. "Appreciative of Mary" does not begin to address the many ways Catholicism elevates Mary, which is not something Jesus did at all.
There are scriptural arguments for both of the Marian dogmas. Protestants just aren’t convinced by them which is your right to do. Sacred Tradition passed down through the church is also very important to us and advised our church on these topics as well.

LOL, this is why you are intellectually dishonest NO, I do not think you should ask a dead person to pray for you. Biblically you can call on the Elders of the church as James 5 says those who are alive and placed in the church to edify, comfort the living body of Christ to pray for you and with you. as they with your call on the name of the lord Antoinging you with oil in the name of the Lord

Which I might add dead people can't anoint you with oil. maybe a statue will seep oil to cause unexplained events yet, the Bible is very clear in How to pray Matthew chapter 6 & 7 who to pray to.

Of course I know the differences. But I’m not a mind reader, I can’t know if every given Protestant disagrees with any particular thing I believe. Protestantism isn’t exact a unified movement. Very wide range of beliefs.
The same can be said for Catholicism in terms of what is believed. In fact I would not be surprised at all to discover that millions of Catholics do not even know that they are mandated to believe certain things, and it is also a fact that many do not follow what the popes decree any ways. Since you are aware of the differences between what you believe and what is considered heretical in Catholic beliefs by Protestants, you should not have a problem as long as you do not push your heresies.

yea praying to and asking one to pray must be in the context of those who are alive, not dead.

it was Jesus who said Let the dead burial the dead. it was Jesus who gave us the model of prayer which is only said once in what is known as the rosary. What a wonderful thing is the Pope would come out and say do not pray and use the rosary it is an error.

I want all RCC to follow me in prayer as our Lord instructed us to pray AND REPENT AND CALL on Jesus.

There are no Scriptural arguments for either Marian dogmas. Both are impure fabrications.

The fact remains that Jesus did not elevate Mary in any way, while Catholics do in many ways, some that amount to blasphemy.

Well feel free to not to ask saints in heaven to pray for you. I don’t care. We interpret this matter differently.

It’s not a doctrine, it is a pastoral statement on how to dialogue with Muslims. Catholics aren’t bound to agree with it.

I can attach a link to the arguments from scripture if you would like me to. I’ve read them, clearly you don’t agree with them or have never read them. In any case you are free to believe whatever you want about Mary.

Funny how you claim not to come here to push your heresies when that is exactly what you are doing.

Oh, I have seen plenty of the lies Catholics tell and many of the ways they twist Scripture to fabricate heresies.

No it’s not, you’re not Catholic so you don’t know what to look for in those documents.

I’m not pushing anything on anyone. Y’all are asking me questions about what I believe and I’m responding. I’m even saying it’s fine if we don’t agree with each other. If you don’t want to know what I believe then don’t ask me.
