The Gentiles attacking Jerusalem ((which is Ezekiel 38)) are not the same people as the Jews inside Jerusalem being preserved and purified. The Spirit of Burning is the baptism with which Christ baptize, He who baptize with fire and restores and redeems the remnant, the Holy Ghost. That is not the same as the plague that destroys the wicked; that saved are not the unsaved.

So i just think you need more than a plague that melts the damned and a Spirit that sanctifies the saved to say these are the same people and same event.

I'm asking you to give me more evidence instead of repeating the same assertion, if you have a case to build, because I have valid criticism so far that ought to be answered.
That's all.
The verse is specifically talking about a population (He That Is Left) then it defines this population as being

(Everyone That Is Written Among The Living)?

You give disregard to the fact that those left were written in the (Book Of Life) the final judgement has already taken place

There is only one time the book of life will be open, at the final judgement as seen in Revelation 20:11-15 below

Isaiah 4:3-4KJV
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

Revelation 20:11-15KJV
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Don't leave out the "IN JERUSALEM" part ;)
It will be Jerusalem, however it will be in the Eternal (New Jerusalem)

As seen below, the final judgement is passed, the eternal has taken place, the book of life has been opened (Once)

(Everyone That Is Written Among The Living In Jerusalem) :)

"The Day Of The Lord"

Hebrews 12:29KJV
29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Zechariah 14:1 & 12KJV
1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

You will closely note, Zechariah 14:16 & Isaiah 4:3-4 are "Parallel" readings of the same event, as Isaiah gives a clear account of those who are left, those who are found in the book of life, the final judgement has passed, eternity has begun "After" The Day Of The Lord

You will closely note in Isaiah 4:4 below, Jerusalem will be purged by the spirit of (Burning)

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Only The Righteous Are Left, The Book Of Life "Was" Opened (Every One That Is Written Among The Living)

Zechariah 14:16KJV
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Isaiah 4:3-4KJV
3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Zech.14 and Isa.4 depict how believers should understand the world in which we live after coming to know Christ.

The enemies of the Lord are already consuming away as they stand on their feet. Jesus referred to unbelievers as being dead.

People who go to Jerusalem to worship the King are simply people who are getting saved and becoming part of Gods holy City.

I disagree, there will be a future second coming of Jesus Christ, and he will return in literal fire and final judgment dissolving the heavens and earth by fire.

Mens bodies will literally be consumed by the Lords fire, just as Zechariah 14:12 explains below

I know our Lord will return in a consuming fire. At that time, all temporary shelters will be consumed.

The Feast of Tabernacles is honoring our King by bringing in the harvest as we live in temporary shelters, which is what believers are doing now.

Jesus isn't going to return to simply destroy the Jews mortal enemies, while giving gentiles more time to think about whether they want to honor him.

The phrase "[it] shall come to past" or "[it] shall be" communicates prophetic certainty of something that will occur. It's literally a phrase born out of the name of the Living God ("I am").

Zechariah 14:16KJV
16 And it shall come to pass, that everyone that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Q: Who shall?
A: Those of the nations which came against Jerusalem. Former enemies who were allowed to survive. "Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess..." The victory is in an enemy's total submission to The Almighty's authority, not in their total destruction.

Zechariah 14:17KJV
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Q: What does "whoso" (or "whosoever") mean?
A: Whoever. It's a conditional phrase meaning "those to whom the following statement applies"; only those who meet the conditions.

When we add "shall" to "whoso" it means "there is a prophetic certainty that there will be those who meet the conditions of the text." There will be people who must be broken to submit (i.e. ruled with a rod of iron to dash into pieces). There will be nations who still will refuse to accept The Almighty's Israel as their "head" even after their armies are destroyed.

Zechariah 14:18-19KJV
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Q: What does "if" mean?
A: It's a conditional phrase denoting "possibility". Thus when paired with the text suggest that it's "possible" for nations to chose not to worship the King or to keep the feast of tabernacles...even after the fiery judgment that destroys the beast and its army.

Zechariah 14 is proof of a time of "reigning" over the nations following the Messiah's return and fiery judgment.

Our Lord said that whoever is not for him, is against him. It really isn't difficult to understand that the holy city which is fought against is the believers in Jesus themselves. And people who are left of the "nations" (gentiles) are simply people who haven't died yet.

The world that doesn't know Jesus, doesn't see themselves as rotting corpses. And those who choose not to honor the King now have no rain, water necessary for life, which is the Spirit of God.

Once again, I disagree with your symbolic allegory

Jesus Christ will return in literal fire and final judgement, dissolving the heavens and earth by fire

This Existing Heaven And Earth Will Be (Replaced) By The New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem, A New Creation, At The Return Of Jesus Christ!

(Behold, I Make All Things New)

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved
, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Malachi 3:2KJV

Psalm 50:3KJV
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psalm 97:5KJV
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Isaiah 66:15KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Nahum 1:5-6KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

And Peter goes on to say,

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1Pet.4:17-18

When Christ returns, whoever does not possess eternal life will perish.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Peter quoted this in Acts 2:20 as a present reality. The tribulation Jesus was speaking of here was the tribulation he himself faced, the Sun being turned to darkness, himself being spoken against and subsequently, the moon being turned to blood, his followers being persecuted. He's currently gathering believers out of the world.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

And all the wood, hay and stubble in this world will be burned up at this time,

he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1Cor.3:15

And Peter speaks of the flood where Noah was "saved by water", but how the unsaved perished and how the world is now "reserved for fire". The unsaved world will not survive this.

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

And you're saying the Lord will not destroy them all.

Revelation 20:9KJV
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
He's refining us now. The "mountains" (the proud) are being leveled by the greatness of what Jesus did. Any remaining mountains upon his return will be flattened for keeps.

Do you disagree with the scripture, that clearly shows only the righteous are left after the day of the Lord in.Zechariah 14:1
Quoting the scripture you referenced::: Zechariah 14:1

Zechariah 14:
1 "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee."

Where in this verse does it say anything about righteous being left or not?

But lets read what is later said about the times in the millennium.. When the peoples from Egypt will be required to come up to Jerusalem each year..

Zechariah 14: KJV
16 "¶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. {17} And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. {18} And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. {19} This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."

So how can you preach that only righteous people will exist after this time when Zechariah declares that the LORD will smite those who do not come up to Jerusalem each year with plague.. If everyone on earth will be righteous at this time then the LORD would have no need to punish anyone because all peoples would be perfectly obedient to His call for them to come up and celebrate the feast of tabernacles each year.. Right?

^ Zech14:16-19 is the "rule [/instruction]" for those existing in the Millennial Kingdom age, which will commence upon Christ's Second Coming to the earth.

Only the "righteous" will ENTER that time period (the MK age), but those later BORN to them (and their grandchildren and so forth) are not "born automatically righteous"... and it is *these* ppl (those having been born IN / DURING the MK age) who will be the only ones susceptible to "death" (as "death" will be much more rare in the MK age, reserved only for the rebellious [/unsaved/lost/unbelievers who "rebel" in / during the MK age]).

But this also means that the "righteous" who ENTER the MK age (upon His "RETURN" to the earth, FOR the MK age) will ENTER it in their mortal bodies, capable of reproducing/bearing children (these being the only ones who will have that capacity, as well as their children and grandchildren and so forth throughout the MK age).

Read revelation 20 which details the 1000 year reign of Jesus and the Saints on earth.. Only after the end of the 1000 years will the end come.. You will read about satan being loosened from the bottomless pit at the end of the 1000 years and he shall go out and deceive the nations and lead them to attack Jerusalem and the camp of the Saints. God will destroy that army with fire and only then will the final judgement happen..
You're thinking in terms of a thousand temporal years on earth. As opposed to one day in Heaven. I am not sure in which context that thousand years is. God seems to speak outside the constraints of temporal timelines. All of the things you mentioned above, satan is doing. Satan was already walking to and fro in the Earth at the time of Job. (Job 1:7) Satan tempted Jesus on the mount. The antichrist already in the world. (1 John 4:3) Then references in Revelation about him being loosed into the world.

But then prophet Isaiah says this puzzling thing:

Isaiah 51:14 The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.

I am thoroughly confused about this thousand years. I don't know when it started or when it ends or it it's started.

To understand this passage we need to understand what we are celebrating when we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. It is a week long time when we celebrate living in tents in the wilderness. It is a celebration of the prophecy that tells us of God's plan of redemption for us. We will live in the New Jerusalem.

just as the temple that God established in Jerusalem was symbolic of the temple that we are when we have God within, the camp in the wilderness was a symbol of the kingdom of heaven. When we celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, we are celebrating living in the kingdom of heaven. For this week we move out of our homes and live in structures in our back yards.

A study of the rules governing the wilderness camp tells us a lot about heaven. As an example, each person had a small shovel that they used to bury what they eliminated far from camp as we are to take the garbage of our lives far from our homes and bury it.

It starts at the time of the second coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.. Yes i am thinking of 1000 actual years on earth.. So the 1000 years has not started yet..

If you read the book of Revelation starting at chapter 19 verse 11 you will see the second coming of the LORD Jesus all you have to do is keep reading until l the end of Revelation chapter 20.. It's all in chronological order..
