I think what the problem is
Rs think that being reasonable w/ Ds will... ha ha... so comical.. cause them to pause and think to themselves "Hey, these Rs are trying to work w/ us.. let's listen to them [etc" ]

I read that dementia can often cause one to inadvertently tell the truth. This video seems to agree with that.
