A door bottom weather seal/door sweep would keep them out. Here's a video on one that's real easy to install. Usually you have to take the door off the hinges, but this one just slides on.

Thankyou Zero,

The problem is not only under the door but up the side as well. Hard to explain. I will try and take a photo and post it later. It is like two doors meet and where they meet is where the problem is down the bottom. I am renting so I cant make any changes unless the landlord is agreeable to it.

lol, this was a whopper.
I have never seen a spider as big as my hand o_O:oops::censored::cry::censored:o_O You have my sympathies...

And maybe this will help, also:

The video shows adding the liner or stripping to the door frame, along sides and bottom as needed...

Surely such a small thing would not require permission?

Unless you want the landlord to pay for it

Well, I've been watching a couple of good films over last few days. I have to say one of them had me nearly in tears..... well fighting them back like a black belt in non tears.

If you get a chance you might like them as well. All 4 are based on real life stories.

1. I can only imagine
2. I still believe
3. Unplanned
4. Miracles from heaven
