Hi, Gary.

Believe me, I never lost sight of that throughout this whole ordeal.

If this had just been a matter of money, then, in all honesty, I would have just taken the loss and moved on.

However, they literally terminated my account and then tried to confiscate my revenue, while keeping their own, because I submitted a "Not Today Satan" design. In other words, there definitely was a spiritual undercurrent to this whole ordeal, and that is the reason why I refused to go down without a fight.

Anyhow, I got all six of my remittance forms (I sold through them to six different markets) yesterday, and the monies should be directly deposited into my bank account on the 29th. When that happens, my dealings with Amazon will be done for good. I've worked directly for them and also through the "Merch by Amazon" platform, and my assessments of Amazon in both cases are the same:

They are evil people with no morals whatsoever and no shame, either.

If it hadn't been for their fear of a lawsuit in which they know that they would have been found guilty of criminal activity, then they wouldn't have budged an inch. Hopefully, my standing up to them will positively affect others in the future or they'll think twice before trying to rob anybody else.

I woke up this morning to see a massive huntsman spider on my bedroom wall.



Eeeeeeeekkkk, I hate those things and this was a whopper as big as my hand.

Now I am reluctant to go to bed tonight

Amazon is a corporate giant, so I felt that it was appropriate.

Unlike David, I needed to sling more than just one stone to take them down.

They truly were persistent in their evil.

Well, one thing about Amazon I have wondered about is this:

My folks don't live near us and so when it comes time to send stuff to the grandkids they often use Amazon :rolleyes: (you know, b/c they have an account and all these buy/save deals for being members :rolleyes:) so if there is ever a problem (which has happened MORE than once) and we have to return/exchange anything I have to wait for a family member who takes care of the Amazon account for my folks to do what they have to on their end, then send me the paper work (which would be a quick click of a button to email, but this person likes to play games and complicate things MORE by printing it and sending it in the mail :rolleyes: )
oh sorry, let me step off that soap box and get to the point.

The first time they sent the kids stuff from Amazon was for :unsure: um b-day or Christmas, so I open the box expecting the toy to be in a box like in the store.......
IT WASN'T :eek: Same toy I could go down to the store and get in a nice ready to wrap box but nooooooooooo........
Amazon sent the toy lose. I thought it had to be a screw up, like a return that got sent to us "As Is".........
Well, we went through the hassle of the return process (described above) not because of the lack of box, but because the item was not age appropriate to begin with (that's why when shopping for other peoples kids it is important to ASK.... not just assume that if you were an 8-10 year old boy you would've wanted it :rolleyes: )
So they get the return taken care of, actually asked which item to get in replace of it, order through Amazon again (b/c you know all those "deals" they get are much better than ordering from the store right down the street) And AGAIN different item STILL comes only in an Amazon box, no box like in stores. I'm like "How in the world do I wrap this to gift????

let me tell you something else.

We have an Amazon fulfillment center near us and let me tell you that place is HUGE.........
makes the local mall look tiny.

I used to work at an Amazon distribution center, so I know what you mean when you talk about the size of the building.

When you order from Amazon, one of two things happens:

If a seller is selling their own products from either their business or home and merely listing their item on Amazon's website, then they will be doing the shipping themselves, and your package probably won't arrive in a box that has Amazon's logo on it.

If a seller has their merchandise stored in an Amazon warehouse (and many do), then Amazon will do the shipping, and the item will arrive in a box with the Amazon logo on it.

I'm guessing (I could be wrong) that what you received was shipped directly from the customer, and not from Amazon itself. If such was indeed the case, then who knows whether or not what you received was a new or used item. A new item should arrive in the type of box it is in in a store.

Nope, EVERYTHING so far has come from Amazon, in their boxes with the stupid blue smiles :rolleyes: (except for some lego sets....... they also come in the stupid bluse smile Amazon boxes but are in their lego boxes when opened. But things like Nurf guns, and the likes are lose in Amazon blue smile boxes.

Interestingly, we have a store nearby that is like an outlet, I have yet to visit it but have been told that their is no rhyme or reason, everything is just on shelves and in boxes, you have to dig. But the store is stuff the owner buys in bulk from places like Amazon, the supposedly returns/rejects they can't sell/resell on site so they sell it off in bulk to vendors.......
One of these days I might remember to go rummage through it.

I read that its extremely rare for a huntsman to bite someone and that the bite is very mild and harmless and that you have to be provoking it. This aussie wildlife guy on the news says they are harmless and he loves to let them crawl all over him. And he said they are good to have around because they get rid of other spiders. But still sorry you have to deal with that, Ruby. ♥

You can't squash them with just one hit, they just keep moving so you have to keep at it until dead. They are quite robust.

When I worked at Amazon, I saw Nerf guns galore in their original boxes, so I don't know what happened in your case.

HOWEVER, Amazon is TERRIBLE as far as damaged products are concerned, so maybe they just sent you something that was damaged.

When I worked at Amazon, they not only stored small items in their warehouse, but big items as well.

I repeatedly noticed, for example, that they would stack pallets of snow blowers on top of each other, even though there were multiple notices attached to the shrink-wrapped pallets which said not to stack the pallets on top of one another. As a result of double-stacking (sometimes triple-stacking), the items on the bottom pallet were greatly damaged ALL OF THE TIME.

This bothered me greatly, and, one day, I saw the General Manager of the warehouse walking through the building, and I approached him (you know me....lol).

I told him about the situation, and this is LITERALLY what he told me in response.

He said, "First of all, your observations are correct. In fact, out of all the Amazon warehouses in the country, ours is the worst as far as damages are concerned. As to why that is, the simple answer is that we don't give a sh*t. If we did, then this problem wouldn't exist."

That's LITERALLY what he told me, and then he walked away.

Anyhow, with that in mind, they might have sent you an item whose box had been crushed for a similar reason, and that is why it was shipped to you loose.

I have bush behind where I live so it is more common for me to encounter them than someone living directly in the heart of the city. They are very flexible so they are able to come through under the front door. Obviously they think the welcome mat is for them lol. I once had three in one week but had a good run for a few months until one this morning. Dealing with critters is a common occurrence here, you just have to do it esp if you are near any bush.

A door bottom weather seal/door sweep would keep them out. Here's a video on one that's real easy to install. Usually you have to take the door off the hinges, but this one just slides on.
