IMHO, The best immune system boosters are raw fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, in their natural form, the digestive track of most people can not digest them properly.
 
I hear much of our industrialized food is vitami9n depleted.
We are blessed with an Amish area near here that produces wonderful locally grown vegetables.
 
It's so hard to find non GMO'd stuff these days!!! I tried growing a garden a couple years ago and gave up because of all the chem trails dumping their poisons. It put burn marks on the vegetables, and white powder, etc. I tried a green house, but it was too hot in there. So, I guess i'll just trust God to purify the gmo'd food. At least HE'S trustworthy!!!

Yes He is YW- I like to think about what Dr. Caroline Leaf says about this and she encourages everyone to eat real food, not processed food- she related that we can pray and receive His protection form how we have hurt His plan for wholesome foods but, in her words, "you can't pray a Twinkie into a kale chip"! ha!

The way to determine your Vitamin C level is to increase your dosage daily until, um, there is no nice way to say this :unsure::LOL::unsure: Until it gives you diarrhea :geek::oops::giggle: If you start with 1k a day, increase 1k a day until that point. Vitamin C is water soluble, so you need not worry about it accumulating in your system, as what is not used is flushed out. Once you determine your tolerance level, take slightly less than that amount per day if you are interested in maxing out on Vitamin C, like if you are fighting a cold or sore throat, for instance :D
 
Taking vitamin C in large doses is simply hard on the liver and does not feed the body more vitamin C because almost immediately the body uses what it needs and the rest must be handled by the lived and eliminated. Also, the body only used 19% of what it takes in. You can buy enhanced (liposomal) vitamin C but it is expensive. There are recipes for making it on the net, it is simply C that is incorporated with lecithin for slower digestion.

If you take tiny doses of vitamin C very frequently, the body uses what you take in, while most of the large doses are eliminated.
