I have an idea, maybe y'all wanna participate. Share
what your avatar name means or where it comes from.
Mine Black powder duelist, is about my hobby for old musket types of fire arms,
duelist is about me against me, kind of a new man vs the old man senario.
A friend of mine gave me the name Magenta many many moons ago because
I wear so much purple (almost exclusively, really :)). I worked with her for 17
years before she passed in early 2000, and she also twelve stepped me.
Some of you know I used to work in a photo lab, and have my whole adult life :D
Magenta is the proper word we use not for purple, but the opposite of green :)
There is no purple LOL, and as a matter of fact, magenta does not exist either
:giggle:

I am always amazed at what the human mind/imagination is capable of.

@Magenta & @zeroturbulence you may enjoy this

That was interesting, thank you Ms Ruby :)

I wonder if this is art for art's sake, or if the tiles are meant to be used practically as well?

I watched the building of the tiny house video you posted, also :)

I wonder why there were no windows installed on either side? Just front and back

@Ruby123 you asked a while back if I live near the beach?

The answer is yes! I am within a less than 5 minute walk to water in three
directions, and have unobstructed panoramic ocean and mountain views :)

Right now it is very chilly and a bit windy, but without whitecaps on the water...

Was it last weekend? The water was so choppy all I saw was whitecaps
o_O

That sounds like a lovely place to live. I love the water even if it is cold and breezy. I live no where near the water now. I can however see hills in the distance.

Welll....

everyone talking about how “tall” they are...
and What order in the alphabet they are in...

lemme help y’all out real quick.

”short stack” “shortie” “lil’bit” “little Laura”(yes, that’s my real Name, Laura) “small person” annnnnd “minion” 😏 I’ve literally heard it all. and I stand as tall as I possibly can at 5’1 1/2. And with the last name as “B”.. I wasn’t too far in the back, but at least everyone could see above My head is they sat behind me. If anything... I would be the one who couldn’t see around anyone 🤷🏻‍♀️

I used to be 5'4.5" but discovered I have lost a lil'bit more than two inches somewhere along the way

I have no idea over what time period... nobody looks taller  My pant legs don't seem longer.

And it does not seem like I have to reach further into the cupboards LOL :D

Lil' Bit is what the queen was called :geek::giggle:

Speaking of which, blessings to her and her family during this time of grief...

As well as any and all who mourn the passing of Prince Philip.

Wow, four hours is quite a long distance

I grew up on a lake, but the shore was miles away...

We used to have family picnics there in the summer :)

My mother grew up on a property/farm that had a small lake on it which she used to
swim in all the time before she moved away from home and eventually got married.

There are lots of lakes and waterways where I was born and raised :)

I don't think it's possible to be four hours away from water there

Yesterday was warm and dry so my wife and I spent a lot of time preparing for our garden and working on the ramp for our storage shed.

I always enjoy doing things together with my honey. We spend a lot of time alone on our front porch watching the birds eat from the feeders. There is this little dog that usually wanders by to say hello and there is a rooster that comes twice a day. I got him special treat rooster food.

Sounds serene. The fresh snow on the mountains is s special touch from God. He set the boundary for the ocean waves too. Of course , you already know this. :)

Well, I was born at a very young age. I was always so homely I couldn't even get the dog to play with me. Momma always told me I has handsome though but she always looked kind of doubtful when she said it.
That's funny, "My mom says I'm the handsomest boy in school!"

Thank you for the reminder :) It is interesting how people say the continents have shifted over time. It must have been either some cataclysmic event, or a very long period of time. I wonder if they are still moving? I do understand that much of what people say in regard to topics like this is speculation, and interesting too how much stock people put into such speculations. I look at a lot of many of them as outside issues. I understand the flat earthers believe such things show how much people are deceived to believe we inhabit a spherical planet, and am always so thankful for people like @posthuman who knows his math and sciences well enough to really give them a run for their money, as the saying goes :D

Oh, it is much toastier in here now with my windows closed (y):giggle:

Much better :)
