Prayer can be many things. It can be simply repeating a memory verse, it can be a conversation with the Lord, or simply quietly listening for His voice. Another way of prayer is to be guided by a prayer given to us by the lord. The Lord’s Prayer is an example.

Here is way to use visualization with the Lord’s Prayer:

Our Father who art is heaven, hallowed be thy name: Psalms gives us pictures of the Father. He is spirit, creator, all powerful. Visualize what scripture tells of Him.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven: Visualize an earth with no sin in it!

Give us this day our daily bread: See the Lord as supervising what goes in our minds and our bodies.

Forgive us our debts: What power! Jesus is giving us righteousness that lets us live forever!

As we forgive our debtors: We let go of all our grudges against others.

Lead us not into temptation: We ask the Lord to help us want to be sinless.

Deliver us from evil: The Lord protects you from any evil that surrounds you.

For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, Amen.

You get the idea, but your visualization will be guided by the Holy Spirit and it will be just for you. Also, reading many of the Psalms in this way opens up a wonderful spiritual world for you.
Visualization is a pagan occult practice. Graven images of God includes mental images of what some think God is like; therefore making a mental image of God to worship is idolatry. The Bible says that God is a Spirit and no person has seen Him at any time.

Do you actually limit any visual image you allow your mind to have an image of God so you create an idol? If I would say to you "lemon" it would cause you to create an image of God that is like creating an idol? What a miserable life you must lead.

Do you not own a dictionary? To them who are evil, all things are evil.

Romans
14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way.
14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean.

Right, but it's not the way God has prescribed for us to approach Him.
The Bible never says to pray wearing trousers or polyester. Is it forbidden to do so?

I already gave an example, that the Bible commands rejoicing, which involves the emotions. Regarding visualization,
Matthew 23:37 says,

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This isn't even a coherent sentence. What are you trying to say?

You misuse scripture to make it wrong to correct someone engaged in mysticism, that passage is not about dangerous sinful idolatry. It's about food and drink and days of celebration, what we call legalism.
Abuse of scripture, and the position that it's wrong to issue correction, these are just evidence of how wrong you are.

What has that got to do with approaching the living God?
Visualization involves 'powers' of the mind, setting up imaginative scenarios and believing it will have an effect on reality.

The article definitely demonstrates, that the OP is out if order. Not only from the OP, but also his defense of his position. Many times saying they visualize God.
You are the one visualizing God, changing prayer into something it is not, bringing evil into Christian posts. The Lord will stop you, God will win and these evil ways you are going on and on about will not win. God is on the winning side.

The OP is not out of order. Your vicious attacks and accusations are what is out of order here.

Revelation
12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I laid out my caser well in a previous post.

Here is a web page on the issue. Some points are weaker than others.

I immediately read at the top of the linked page..."Unlock the Meaning in all your Dreams...even the Crazy Ones"/ "Free Video Event ...Hearing God Through Your Dreams".

Rubbish!

Jeremiah 23:28-29 (KJV) The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Your own dark version of it probably does focus on dark things. We are not in your boat.

That's a new agey version of it. Picturing something in your mind is also visualizing. Some people do that automatically. It is also normal to do this when reading certain passages, like about the temple.

I did not catch the part about the package they were selling, but God speaking through dreams is certainly a Biblical concept.

In Job 33 we read about how God warns men about their was in Dreams. In the last days old men will dream dreams.

Dreams have no authority compared to God's Word. I don't trust hucksters trying to peddle their cheap wares about dreams visions, revivals, ponzi schemes, visualizations etc.

Again...

and

Colossians 2:18-19 (KJV) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

How absurd. Accusing others of your actions is called gaslighting, it's one of the psychological abuse characteristics.
I don't pretend to attempt to create images of God, much less pray to them.

So let's see what Jesus said when he taught his disciples to pray.

'Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”
Luke 11:1‭-‬4 ESV

I don't see a directive to "imagine, or visualize" or any type of conjuring of "images'' . I see him direct them to "say" words .
It's almost as if praying is talking to God. Away for God to conform our thinking to his will via a conversation. not some kind of exercise of the imagination to create images and visualizations by which to sensualize ourselves.

You should read the whole Bible. If you really believed it, you would believe the parts that show that God communicates through dreams.

There were false prophets in Jeremiah's time who told dreams from their own flesh.

Read Job 33 and Acts 2. Paul had a vision and so did Peter. He was not opposed to them. The issue is the source.

Another misuse of scripture. So we are not to stand up against false teaching, and deception.
You can't misuse scripture to defend false doctrine.
