I don't see that as teaching or practicing visualization.
I'll concede, the OP may not have had the New Age practice in mind but it was still a poor choice of words as it stirs up a hornet nest.
I think the hornets nest is to say that if you see a picture of something in your mind, it is the same as the occult practice of trying to create reality with pictures. That thought is not even related to my post, it is a thought that has no business on a Christian site and I think that poster should send an apology to everyone.

Let's also read the psalms in context also . But back to this " Our Father " This is a big clue here .

yes and:

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
(John 1:12-13)
He is the Father of all whose faith is in Him

He is 'our Father', no?

2 Thessalonians 2:16 ESV
[16] Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace,

Thessalonica wasn't exactly a Yiddish hubble. lol

Like 10:27
27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself

How do we love God with all of our mind? Does it/can it include using imagery in our minds or is it expressly forbidden?

Yes he heals her daughter in the end , but these are exceptions .
No, this is the rule. You missed the whole point of it. He loves you and wants to heal you too. Where did you get these weird ideas? Maybe I don't want to know.

Who is name calling? I guess you have the wrong person. I guess that's what happens when you butt into a conversation.

Kind of a self-defeating post, wouldn't you say?

Sorry for butting into your private "conversation". I mistook this for a public thread, as did many others.

Yes we can call God 'Father ' ( Abba ,actually ) OUR is corporate. Thats my Point . OUR in the context Jesus is giving to the Jews is a Jewish ' reference ' OUR , is the context. OUR !! GROUP , CORPORATE, COLLECTIVE . not individual
