Here are the two panels I have been working on (same verses ;))

I prefer the blond for this one, and will use Audrey Hepburn's face on another...

I did spend a LOT of time trying to make Audrey work for this one but... c'est la vie :)

Perhaps Lil' Bit @She_is_Legendary will be kind enough provide a verse for an Audrey angel :D

What changed is that I told them that I was turning the matter over to my attorney. They know that they're crooks, so, suddenly, I was entitled to the monies which they had previously told me on four separate occasions that they weren't going to pay me.

I'll press them for the monies that they own me for this month sometime around the middle of next month. Normally, they send me out remittance forms on the 20th of the month for what they're going to pay me for my previous month's sales, and then the monies are directly deposited into my bank account on the 29th (the 29th falls on a Sunday this month, so I just got some monies deposited into my account today).

When I know that I'm getting my monies next month that I'm owed for this month's sales (up until they terminated my account on the 10th), then I have one more legal threat for them which may or may not get my account reinstated.
Amazon has very expensive stock prices per share. And it's had it's share of problems lately with lawsuits against them for wages owed. Another one surrounding suppliers is not something that they really want.

They have had a lot of rumors and accusations about those who self publish their books being robbed and plagerism and even works outright stolen and the original author accused of plagerism.

It's kinda a mess when everything is so automated and huge at the same time.

With today's automated electronic banking and search AIs... you would think that this would be a thing of the past.
It really is not that difficult to determine who sold what, when, and where. Plagerism should be easily determined... just like identity. Just like stolen porch packages vs employees not truly delivering packages was easily remedied.

ALL retail outlets for vendors are a source for a long history of bad relationships. Grocery stores are notorious for treating vendors as sub-human. Same thing with restaurants and their suppliers.

It all comes with the territory. Since Amazon treats it's own employees so poorly a vendor is always treated with less respect than a regular employee.

If you ever find a place that doesn't follow this rule I really want to know about it.

The customer is king, the employees are favored slaves, and suppliers/vendors are sub-human.

The only time I have ever gotten decent treatment as a vendor from a retailer is when they were heavily in debt to me...and knew it...and were begging for products.

No wonder Bezos stepped down. I was wondering why he decided to step down since amazon is at the top of it's game right now. And it has made him the richest person on earth. Very smart to get out before it becomes entangled in a legal quagmire. I almost feel sorry for the guy who's taking over his position as CEO.

That all sounds about right.

I used to work directly for Amazon, and they treated us as if we were idiots. In other words, they always offered "incentives" to get us to work harder which didn't benefit us at all, but only benefited the company.

Anyhow, I can tell you this much for sure...

Their differing departments definitely don't interact with each other well as far as the sharing of information is concerned.

For example, just last week, after I had already received my remittance notices which indicate that I'm getting paid, they sent me an email which told me that they were still looking into the matter, and another email that offered me a job.

Seriously, they're nuts.

On top of that, I recently received another email from them about publishing an audio book...after they attempted to steal all of my money from my t-shirt sales.

I'll never die of boredom...lol.

On another note, I honestly thought that God had removed all fear out of life until earlier this afternoon.

In all seriousness, I cannot even remember the last time that I was actually scared about anything...and then I took my daughter out today to teach her how to drive.

I almost had about 100 panic attacks...lol.

I'm serious, but we and my car are all still in one piece...barely.

:p

I remember teaching my son to drive...we went around the empty church in the parking lot several times forward and then did it backwards several times. He got good at driving backwards. Until it was second nature for him.

Reason being is that when it came time to use the parking spaces to learn how to parallel park...it was a piece of cake for him.

Just an idea for you out of a dad whose son is grown.

I took my daughter and her friend to the high school parking lot (it's huge).

I'm actually taking her friend for her driving test (she has her permit already) this Wednesday (Lord willing), and she was practicing parallel parking all day (and yesterday) because the school has a spot assigned for just that due to their own driver's education program.

My daughter was actually doing okay (with a few hiccups) until it came time for her to park the car so we could exchange seats.

She roared into the parking space, slammed on the brakes, and skidded to about an inch away from the metal guardrail and post.

If nothing else, I now have a better idea what Paul felt like when he was caught up to the third heaven (whether in the body or out of the body, I cannot tell)...lol.

My daughter recently passed her driver's test (again) and even bought a car! Oh, yeah, she bought a nicer car than either of her parents have ever owned LOL, well, you know, with all the digital bells and whistles: back up cam, DVD player, sun roof, push start, auto lock etc etc. She studied very diligently for her written test, and you have to know so much more now these days too. So she goes out parking lot driving to improve her skills; her insurance rates as a learner are insane :censored:

My daughter despairs of ever being able to parallel park .
Most of us simply don't master these things right off the bat LOL
Kudos to your son (y)

I'll still take my daughter out to practice driving, but I'm probably going to pay for her to have driving lessons as well.

She and I had pretty much agreed on that beforehand, so she's okay with it.

I'm actually rather patient and encouraging, so I wasn't making her feel bad, or uncomfortable, or anything.

That said, I did see my life flash before my eyes a few times today...lol.

(He walks away from his computer and straps a mattress to the front of his car for tomorrow's lesson...)

My templates folder has 1,613 Files in 9 Folders
(I had to separate them by book after there were so many of them.)
This is the finished files, in two sizes each (one for posting), plus the working copy

My Template Items' folder has 3,916 Files in 3 Folders
One sub folder is florals only = 915 Files
The other sub folder is human elements = 1,344 Files
That is where all my faces, wigs, eyes, arms, clothing, jewelry etc are
The main folder has butterflies, special effects, birds, clouds, fruit, lots of stuff
I try to name each grouping similarly so things are easy to find

Then there is my Backgrounds' folder = 894 Files

Next is my Christos folder= 1,092 Files
Angels, wings, halos, statuary, doves, halo effects, lions, lambs, and LOTS of Jesus
But some people are offended by images representing Jesus, so I have stopped constructing them

My Equus folder has 376 Files
Most of my very early panels almost always had a horse/Pegasus/unicorn in them :giggle:

Frames and Borders' folder = 1,355 Files
When I start a panel now, it is in this folder named by date begun until nearing
completion with verse citation, then it is moved into the Templates folder :D
Plus, frames and border elements :D

9,892 files for panels altogether

There is also a pictures folder with 2,106 Files, of which at least 1,306 Files are personal pics :)
Some of the other images in this folder are older backgrounds :)

Mornin' Ms Ruby :) How's your day going so far?

I think it's done  Does it look done to you? The earlier version is below ;)
Morning Magenta,

yes this looks pretty as always. Always love the colours and design and verses. I think I have seen a cat in one or two of them? Always like seeing them lol.
It is lunch time here. Normally I join in on a small christian zoom group but I have left that. They turned out to be too clicky and I didn't like that. In fact I am quite disappointed in them. We have a local community garden group that gather in person so I have joined that instead. Been going for about a month now and in a few hours they are having a market day so I will probably go and check that out. Not really into gardening that much but I do like the end result of growing your own vegies. Atm I am trying to work out how to do your own reticulation. Not a fancy one, just the do it yourself buy a black pipe, stick your own holes and put tiny sprinker heads on it. Not getting very far with it atm. I am a bit stuck actually lol. Oh boy Lord help me please, not good at this sort of thing.

Thank you, Ms Ruby :D Oh, that sounds interesting! Maybe there are some youtube videos that would help explain how to do it? Growing your own food/veggies/herbs... that must be a rewarding experience :D Lots of people grow tomatoes and/or basil or Rosemary on their balconies or patios, but I have neither :censored: And wow! Meeting in person!!! Haha, I hardly get out at all except for medical reasons :alien: How much space will you have dedicated for growing, and what do you plan to grow? Aren't you just moving into fall now? Do you get much freezing weather over the winter?

I have been watching lots of Netflix LOL. The Night Stalker... he raped, murdered, and robbed quite a few people in the 80s in Los Angeles (some in San Francisco also); I remember hearing about it way back when because after he did his dastardly deeds he would help himself to whatever his victims had in their refrigerator :censored: That guy was truly evil. Then I watched a show on 4 different men who were wrongfully convicted of two different rapes and murders. Forced false confessions sent two guys to jail, where one still is after more than 30 years, for something he did not do. Now I am watching The Innocence Files, again about miscarriages of justice with the wrong people being incarcerated due to faulty "science." Many of these cases went to trial before DNA came on the scene, but even with retrieving the DNA gathered for evidence from years earlier that showed the person in jail was not the perp, they still languish in jail, with these cases, partially because they are Black and in "the deep south." The Innocence Project gets thousands of letters of year from people in jail looking for help. Can you imagine??? We have so much to be grateful for :):D:)

Oh, and cats! Yes, more than one of my panels has a cat on it :) One has two :D

Things where I am have to a large degree returned back to normal. People are out and about, haven't seen a mask in a while . Most are out soaking up the last of the sun as it has been turning colder lately. Winter will be on it's way so most are making the most of it. I don't know if it will last though as the weather has been unpredictable. We had really bad fires recently and are still recovering from that and in the east they have had the devastating floods and mice and spider plagues.

I have a veggie bed approx 2metres by 2metres and a few pots that I have been growing veggies in. I must admit I have not been having much luck this time. The first lot got eaten by the cabbage moths so I had to get some protective netting. The second lot have not taken off. Someone said that perhaps they are not getting enough water hence my retic idea. If I can work it out. I may ask someone in the group if they could have a look and point me in the right direction.

It gets cold here and rains alot in winter, never snows or anything but gets REAL cold. Although I am a person who prefers the warmth to the cold. I have to chop my own wood lol. Lucky nobody is filming me. It would probably be a comedy. It is time to plant the winter veggies, broccoli, carrots, cabbage etc etc.

The murder movies/documentaries are certainly interesting. They get your mind on overdrive trying to work out how and why. Most of the movies turn out with a similar ending though and they get a bit predictable. I used to like watching that English police series called "the bill" and there was another English detective guy that I liked watching too. It would have me on the edge of my seat at times. I can't remember the name of it but when I do I will let you know. That has returned to TV as re runs so I may start watching that again. I confess I have been watching something that is pretty lame. Married at First Sight. I do find it interesting to see the relationships play out although it is heavily edited so that you believe what they want you to believe.

Magenta since you like the murder/mystery type shows on TV would you ever write to a person in jail as a pen pal type of thing??

Murder/mystery never really used to be my thing... I mean, I enjoy many movie genres, and read a few books along those lines (fiction), but these real-life stories are something else! Really very interesting and quite a glimpse into the darker recesses of the human soul and the evil that lurks within. Very chilling. I have watched quite a few of the Forensic File cases and many other real life stories. Extremely compelling stuff! When I had a TV I also used to watch I.D. TV which was re-enactments of crimes (mostly murder), but it has been my closest sister who has kind of gotten me back into it, as she is a huge, um, fan seems like the wrong word to use, but she loves that sort of thing and has for many many years. Also with so much time on my hands, being laid off work for over a year now and this covid/self-isolating thing coinciding with my cancer treatments, it gives me lots of time to while away the hours lol.

Oh, that's good to hear that things are returning to "normal" down there :D Cuz at some point people were sounding alarm bells at how they were shutting everything down and all that. We live in such interesting times. The conspiracy theorists are having a field day :giggle:

I hope you are able to grow a wonderful garden full of your favorite things!

Here there are (or used to be) places where people went to
"chop wood and carry water," and it was billed as a retreat LOL.
