I Had No Idea

With bated breath
I avoided surrender
I circumvented submission
I renounced you when I was juvenile
I had no idea

For a period, I came out against you
It was almost my end a few times
But every time, you pulled me out alive
I had no idea

Endlessly, I continued to rock the boat
You had faith in me and I gave in
We made peace,
I had no idea.


I love writing poetry and I hope you all like my stuff! I'm a baby Christian, but I love the Lord and want to share my love poetically.
