If you read Hebrews 11 literally, their works proved they had faith.
For example in verse 4, God spoke well of Abel offering, notice it did not say he spoke well of Abel attitude, belief etc?
Our faith in the body of Christ does not require works (Romans 4:5) because Christ done it all for us,
The Law requires that we perfectly obey everything in it at all times ( Gal. 3:10.). None of us does that. That’s why we need Jesus, even after we’re saved. That’s why the blood cleanses is in the present, and that’s why we have an High Priest in heaven.
Yes. The point was His ascension was that His body ascended, not just His spirit.
The point I was making is that none of the ot saints are in heaven now, they are waiting on earth for Christ 2nd return,
Obedience then and now is a byproduct of faith
There are a few exceptions, like Elijah and Moses, both of which appeared to Jesus in their immortal bodies (as evidenced by the fact that Jesus was temporarily glorified and no one can stand in the presence of a glorified Jesus in our present corruptible bodies).
But, yes, the rule is that OT saints like David and Job and Samuel and Josiah, etc., are yet asleep awaiting the Resurrection of the Just.
No, it's not a double negative - I'm attributing the statement to a OSAS person. But, for clarity, I'll reword it:
I don't believe as OSAS folks do - that "the only thing salvation causes to change is God's opinion of my sin that remains."

It is you who reject Scripture because your Antinomianist hatred of having to do things God's way instead of your own way causes you to abhor the truth that the only difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant is the location upon where the Ten Commandments are written: formerly on stone, but now on the "fleshly tables of the heart":

I expose the claim that salvation is a license granting diplomatic immunity for the same crimes the unlicensed will suffer eternal punishment;
I wipe away the graffiti covered signposts which the unwary read as "Path of the Just" so as to reveal to them what lies underneath: "Highway to Hell".

So, then, if we love Jesus as the pinnhead Christian loves that little girl, why do we keep making excuses for driving fresh nails (Hebrews 6:4-6 KJV) into the hands and feet of Jesus?
You absolutely believe salvation is a license that grants immunity for crimes that send the unlicensed to eternal damnation.
If not, here's your opportunity to set the record straight by selecting A or B:
(A) The Christian forfeits salvation by permanent withdrawal of their surrender to God and surrender to the flesh.
(B) Salvation grants the Christian penal immunity for the same crimes for which the Lost will suffer eternal damnation.
Just for the record, OSAS people stop their ears and shut their eyes to the reality of where their twisted ideology leads; to the logical conclusion of their claims...but there will be no "safe space" in the Judgment for any of us.
You absolutely believe that a Christian who pursues a course of deliberate, known, impenitent sin will not forfeit salvation, just a few stupid jewels in his crown of life...it's the foundation upon which OSAS rests!
