Pronoun Change as Christian?

Hello! My apologies if this is the wrong forum, please point me to the right one if it’s not.
Okay, I‘ve read a lot on here and the Internet in general about using other’s gender pronouns. For example, if a friend asks you to refer to them as “she/her” rather then “he/him” I understand the multiple options on this, so I’m not really asking about that, but maybe the two are intertwined, I don’t know.

My question is, what about a Christian choosing their own pronouns?
I’ve never felt comfortable being refered to as “she/her”(no, I’m not changing my gender because I do believe God knew what my gender was when He made me) and I‘ve been thinking of changing to “she/they” for a long time. I want to honour God but I really am annoyed by “she/her”, and “she/they”(in my opinion) keeps my female identity. Advice?

I believe Jesus died on the cross. By doing so, He took the punishment for my sins and went to hell in my place. His death is significant because He is the only one who could walk out, and He did.
If I don’t believe(or accept) that, I’m taking my sins back, and paying for them myself and I can’t walk out of that.

I‘m asking the pronoun question because I don’t want to be going against God but I haven’t found a straight answer

Why would you reject accurate language? Honesty is one of the expectations of God.

I’m not sure. I’ve had a few Christian friends do it and they’re comfortable with it, but I don’t want to change just because they did. That line of thinking can go south very fast.

The pronouns have bothered me for a while and I feel like it shouldn’t, maybe I’m being picky.

Hello and Welcome to CC...
It's good that you believe in Jesus, and recognize God's sovereignty regarding your gender. With regard to pronouns though, I would encourage you to think through this carefully. By asking others to use specific pronouns, you are expecting them to acquiesce to your views. You have a name; just use that. Choose not to be offended if people use a term is not your preference. You may find that many people will ask which you prefer; be thankful for those people, and don't worry about the rest. :)

Obfuscating the truth is dishonesty. As a Christian we have an obligation to the truth.

as a Christian your complete identity should be found in the gospel. When we look into the gospel it’s like we are looking into a mirror seeing who we are meant to be.

if you believe the gospel you are a child of God one of the things about us is that we make a point to not look for offense . Things like this seem to invite offense a person might refer to you as she , but how you take it is where the offense lies

if a meet a female Christian she is my sister , to refer to her as she or sister or female in my heart is not offensive but a title of respect , identifying them as a sister in Christ who I am bound to love . Acknowledging that she as well as I equally belong to Christ

in Christ it’s about people regardless of gender. And the truth is that makes can’t exist without females and females can’t exist without males that either side of our lives are offensive seems to take away from the complete man whether male or female .

I think your identity should be a child of God who looks higher than a pronoun

Honestly, it’s the same issue, but I don’t want to change to non-binary pronouns because I know God made me the right gender. If I was supposed to be male, He would have made me male. By using “she/they”, I feel that I’m keeping my female identity but not being tied so closely to it. And yes, as I was typing, I realised how backwards that sounds
