Not so much funny but informative. Goosebumps, video games, Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, D&D. All these were "Evil" according to the 90s and 80s churches. Most of the people who claimed this usually know very little about these things other than "horror" stories they hear from yellow journalism. Cbn is very good at this. Most of this can be avoided by learning about these things and what they are and how they work instead of blanket banning everything. That being said this doesn't mean that these things cant be harmful. Pretty anything can be, especially poorly taught doctrine. I think people in general need to chill

I believe that All Christian have a responsibility to speak up and let there views be known on things they see to be harmful.Not so much funny but informative. In my view, "cancel culture" is deeper than sharing there view. They see people that have different views. Instead of talking with them and sharing their views, they simply try to "crush them" out of existence. And quite honestly, I have found (in my opinion) most of those views they enjoy are to herald the things of this world and not good nor healthy choices.
This is my opinion.
Yes it does seem a bit more fierce than simply telling your family members not to do it or partake in it. Still I find many in the evangelical communities to be rather over bearing on these things. In most cases these people know very little about what there protesting against (much like the far left as you said but perhaps not as extreme in solutions to the issue)
