Seems like we are in need of opportunities to capture and share some Positive Things that happen every day in our World... I always love random acts of kindness - they so often touch your heart just enough to remind us to stay true to our Christian convictions along our respective journeys...
PLEASE SHARE Random Acts of Kindness that you have experienced, conducted and come across... I'll start with this lovely photo of an innocent and caring young girl's heart that I just saw on FaceBook:

I still remember that man almost 19 years ago...it was rush hour and there were lots of passengers waiting for the train ...when I went in oh goodness a bunch of men and I was the only woman on that side it was too late to go out already.. I felt nervous and I can't even move because of how packed the train was...there was this guy standing near the wall showed me,guided me to the corner and he stood like a guard so that nobody could push me while giving me a tiny safe space for myself ...he was so kind to show to me to a safe corner.

It really touched my heart how protective that guy was to a stranger woman like me...it was a random act of a gentleman's kindness that until now I can still remember 😍

That is such a memerable experience that will stay with you forever... I believe these kinds of experiences help us to open our eyes and see people who may be in need of such kindness in such and so many other experiences...

Saw this on a Facebook Post:
“I witnessed this sanitation employee return a trash can to the side door of an elderly lady's home this morning. After speaking with her I learned that her mobility is limited and this man does this for her every week. It may seem so insignificant to you or me, but to her it's greatly appreciated! Small acts of kindness, such as this, will not change the world, but it changes her world. I didn't get your name sir, but you are awesome!”

Homeless Man Returns Diamond Ring That Was Given To Him By Mistake, Is Praised By Thousands
“It was just such a feeling of loss when it was gone, so I am so eternally grateful for him,” Sarah said. “It just makes you realize there are good people out there.”

I've done this before... A single mom with three kids at the grocery store check-out line in front of me had her credit card canceled - mind you her food was in the cart - the cashier was going to print out her reciept and call the manager to come and take her to his station... I told the cashier to waive-off the manager and that I would pay for her grocery bill...

“Sam and I were at Target yesterday. The couple near the cart didn't have enough money for their purchase. The lady in the green shirt started to hand things back to the cashier to be able to afford what she had. The lady in the black shirt came out from her lane and said you don't need to return anything, I will pay for the whole thing. She pulled out her card and did just that.”

Confess - this one made me cry like a baby...
Kind Cashier Used His Own Card To Pay For Homeless Man’s Meal; Next Customer Tipped $100

When a homeless man walked into Burger King with only 50 cents to buy something to eat, a kind cashier decided to himself treat the man to a large meal.

Matthew Resendez was working behind the register at a Burger King in San Antonio, Texas, when a homeless man standing in line asked if there was anything on the menu he could afford.

“Proud mom moment!” Matthew’s mother, Michelle Resendez, wrote in a post online. “Matthew worked this evening and a homeless gentlemen walked in the restaurant with .50 cents and asked if there was anything on the menu he could buy. Matthew asked him what he would order if he could and the man said anything would help his hunger pains.”
Matthew then ordered the man a “hearty meal” and kindly pulled out his own debit card to pay for it.

“So Matthew rung him up for a hearty meal and then used his own debit card to pay for the man’s meal. He handed him the receipt and told him to relax and take a seat.”

“The story could end there and it would be a happy ending, but apparently a women watched my son during his random act of kindness. Not only did she write the company to let them know about the caring employee they had working for them, she also rewarded my son with a very generous tip! So proud to be his mom and I can pat myself on the back knowing that I’ve played a part in raising this big hearted young man,” Michelle said.

Without realizing it, another woman in the restaurant watched the sweet exchange between Matthew and the homeless man and was deeply moved. When she came up to order her meal, she left Matthew a $100 tip to reward him for the good deed he had done.

“We go through the drive through order food all three kids are now crying for one reason or the other I go to pay – I LEFT MY PURSE AT HOME. Welp now I wanted to cry. I look at the young man with tears in my eyes just from being stressed and annoyed and say “hun I am so sorry but I have to cancel that order I left my purse at home when we went to football tonight” WITHOUT HESITATION he takes out his wallet and swipes his card before I could even say “no I will be right back!” I was like wait no hun it’s ok I will come back through then he replies ‘no it’s totally fine, my pleasure.'”

I have thing thing in the library where if a child borrows a particular book, they could win a free book and a prize.
of course there are some children who then come to the library everyday wanting to find the prizewinning books and even want me to issue them books in my break time and after hours...sigh

Though one girl surprised me becuse she gave her prize away to her teacher (it was chocolate) and also some boys will give their prize to the girls they like (cos they keep winning) and others girls if they win also give their prize to their friends.

so I said that was kind and they were not being the greedy little mercenaries that I feared lol

Love this story, reminds me of a special needs young man that went to school with my son - he was a huge sports super fan for all the HS teams - so all the popular kids loved him for his support... Rather than teasing him or making fun of his limitations - they welcomed him with open arms and literally embraced him into their lives every day...
