This is pretty amazing. Injured sea lion jumps onto boat for help. Apparently it was injured and starving. They took it to the local marine mammal center.

Morning all, we have no electricity for twelve hours today so coffee will be cold and no donuts today.
 
Evening all. Had a long morning at the VA Hospital. Cat Scans (2 different ones), X-Rays (12 of 'em), Ultra Sounds and a consultation with my Surgeon. All in all, it was not bad, just tiring.

God is great, God is good, trust in Him, for He will never abandon you in your time of need.

Woo hoo our electricity is back on. They turned it off to clean the wires from dust and build up because of the very hot conditions and bushfires. Seems a bit late though as summer is just about finished but sometimes we have our hottest days in the beginning of Autumn and with the severe weather everywhere it's probably a good thing.

Seeking someone who is good with their words.

A lady that I used to work with and was also friends with passed away nearly two months ago. It was rather sudden. She was found by one of her family members. Her son rang me and told me the sad news. I knew she had a few health problems but certainly not something to have caused her death. I had only been speaking with her a few days before and in fact on the day of her death I rang her but she did not answer.
Although we were friends I did not know her too well as she was more of a work friend that I sometimes caught up with to have a coffee. The funeral has been and I sent an email with my condolences to her daughter for her and her family. As it was a sudden death an autopsy had to be done to determine the cause of death. My question is, how do I ask her daughter what she passed away from as it really has been playing on my mind or is that something that is inappropriate??
 
Gandy was up early looking at the hustle and bustle (or lack thereof) from the town we are in at the moment. I must say I don't miss the big city on days like these :)

If it was a close friend I wouldn't mind asking, if not they might feel it inappropriate :unsure:

How is the weather going Gandy? It was on the internet yesterday that SA is getting the non stop rain. Weird isn't it? We have heat waves, you rain and others have extra cold and snow.

When we book it was forecast that it would rain all the time, but God has been good to us and we are having perfect weather. Gandy jnr is not complaining because now he can enjoy the waves...
