Casting lots was a common practice in the OT. The practice of casting lots occurs most often in connection with the division of the land under Joshua (Joshua chapters 14-21), a procedure that God instructed the Israelites on several times in the book of Numbers (Numbers 26:55; 33:54; 34:13; 36:2).

God allowed the Israelites to cast lots in order to determine His will for a given situation (Joshua 18:6-10; 1 Chronicles 24:5,31).

Various offices and functions in the temple were also determined by lot (1 Chronicles 24:5, 31; 25:8-9; 26:13-14).

The sailors on Jonah’s ship (Jonah 1:7) also cast lots to determine who had brought God’s wrath upon their ship.
Once again, NO. GOD does not operate that way. The GOD who knows the end from the beginning does not cast lots at all. The people did that, it is not GOD's way.

Notice that Jonah didn't do it? The sailors did it. Just because the people are so ignorant of GOD's way, and very likely were influenced by the occult, doesn't mean that is how GOD operates.

Its not about study, its about knowing how the GOD operates. The GOD I know, is not a gambler. The GOD I know, does not operate by time and chance. The GOD I know predestines, the GOD I know answers prayers when the prayer is on point. Apostle Peter being the 6th Angel of the Church should have known better. It happened, im not saying it didn't. But it was the apostles that made the decision to cast lots, and to replace Judas, not GOD.
According to common practice within the tribes of Israel, it is commonly known that casting lots to make any important determination was the only manner in wich to know the Father's will for not all are prophets, yet the Father, Avinu,, recognized their desire honoring it by making the determination. You may dispute this to the Kingdom but you will never change the truth of the matter.

The truth is that the people displayed a height of ignorance. You may believe that GOD is gambler, i know HE is not.
The GOD I know is not a gambler.

You know, just because someone says: I am going to flip this coin and if it lands on heads it means yes, doesn't mean that GOD had ANYTHING to do with it at all. And any Prophet that cast lots to determine GOD's will is not a real Prophet, or its a lie. Why would a Prophet who hears from GOD directly, cast lots to know what GOD wants to do? Where is the intelligence of christians?

Mattias was a direct witness of Jesus=Yeshua, thus he was qualified to be a replacement of the Lord-s 12th.
That he was qualified is irrelevant. He was still man's choice.

“apostle” means “one who is sent out.”
Matthias was sent out by men before Pentecost.
Paul was sent out directly by Jesus.

Answer: With Judas having betrayed Christ and then committing suicide, the 11 remaining disciples decided to replace Judas with a new 12th apostle (Acts 1:16-20). The requirements were that the man had to have been with them the entire time of Jesus’ ministry, and to have been a witness of the resurrection and ascension (Acts 1:21-22). The 11 disciples proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (possibly the same person as Barnabas), and Matthias (Acts 1:23). The 11 disciples then prayed for the Lord’s direction (Acts 1:24-25), and then cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias (Acts 1:26).

You never read the other examples?

Surely you won't claim Joshua was being ignorant too?

Because all scripture is ultimately from God and equally authoritative. And to be rightly divided .
Really? So even if the person failed to accurately interpret what GOD was saying, and then taught something that was not at the level which GOD had taught the person, you see no issue with what is said? You still claim an incomplete truth is the WORD of GOD?

I read them. But all you are reading is what Joshua believed GOD said. Do you think the GOD that said thou shalt not murder, commanded Joshua to kill the inhabitants of Canaan? GOD said it was a land prepared for them. IF it is so, why did they have to kill the inhabitants? This is showing that Joshua got it wrong.

When you know the Most Holy Character of GOD, you cannot be deceived. My GOD is not a gambler. Cmon, why would you think that the GOD who CANNOT make mistakes, who knows the end from the beginning, is a gambler? Chai its amazing to me that people can believe that about the GOD.

Alright then, most of us don't let scripture get in the way with what we already want to believe.

Do you believe that GOD can repent?

It is written that GOD repented than HE made man. The same GOD that cannot mistakes. The same GOD that knows the end from the beginning said it was very good at the time HE had coupled their bodies. Yet, it is written that HE repented.

in another place, it is written that GOD is not a man that HE should lie, nor the Son of Man that HE should repent.

A blatant contradiction. Ironically, both were attributed to Moses.

However, Jesus His Pre-Eminence said lucifer is a liar and a murderer from the beginning, moses made out man is the model for lying. Jesus His Pre-Eminence said no, lucifer is the model for lying.

The point is, that when you understand that the sent ones who heard from GOD directly, are the ones also responsible for teaching the people what they were taught, and some did not do so well in that regard. Then you can see how important it is to know who the GOD is, and how HE operates.

i know that my GOD never repented that HE made man. For my GOD cannot make mistakes. My GOD is all knowing. Therefore, anything that calls these into question, is not explained well, or is not true at all.

The examples i gave prove it so.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you . All my point would be to clarify that when Jesus speaks in the four Gospels he is mainly addressing Israel. When we read Paul he's mainly addressing the church . One is not more authoritative. Its just recognising who is speaking to whom and what are the speaking about .

This is the misunderstanding. The reason why there are 7 angels of the 7 churches written of in Revelation 1-3 was to show that the church has been since the fall of Man. The first church, led by Enoch, the second church, led by Noah, the 3rd church, led by Abraham, the 4th church, led by Moses, the 5th church, led by Joshua, the 6th church, led by Apostle Peter, and the 7th Church is led by the Son of Man.

It is the Angels of the Churches only that were given the keys to the kingdom in their time, the Son of man is speaking of the Prophesied Son of Man to return, the restorer of all things, the 7th Angel of the 7th Church age, it is them only that have the authority, to lead the church to GOD. There are no other.

So my GOD in HIS incarnate Manifestation, addressed the church as a whole, from the first to the Seventh.

Casting lots was a practice used before the baptism of the Holy Spirit was given to us.
As for Jesus' choice of Paul as the next apostle I wasn't aware it was up for debate.
Jesus chose all of the 12
