Exodus 12, Leviticus 23, Numbers 28 & Deuteronomy 16 aren't supposed to be "divided" away from us; they are supposed to be understood by us as speaking of Christ.
clearly no, we don't go to a physical temple and sacrifice animals for forgiveness of sin -- but why not? because Christ Himself has given Himself as our sacrifice for sin, once and for all. so it's not that Leviticus should be "divided" from us, but that Leviticus is rightly handled and understood as speaking of Him. that's not "divided" but revealed, it's cut straight.

if Paul thought the Torah was not for believers, that the feasts were not meant for a Christian audience, what is he doing teaching from them and using them as direct examples of the gospel, as though their testimony is witness of the death burial and resurrection of Jesus? clearly he doesn't think they should be "divided!" he thinks they are given to reveal and give witness of the Son of God, just as Peter says in Acts 10:43 -- oh wow! they're preaching the same thing, not different gospels! and they're both saying that all of the OT is preaching that very same gospel!

so it's a fundamentally different approach to "accurately handle" than it is to "segmentize" scripture, and the very same apostle who tells the young man in his tutelage to "cut straight the word of truth" is himself not compartmentalizing scripture, but using all of it as though it is for us, using all of it as though it is about Christ, using all of it as though every jot and tittle of it teaches the gospel when it's properly understood, when the veil is removed.

I get the meaning, I just find it awkward. It sounds overly sanctimonious & pretentious to use it now.
I can't imagine Jesus going around speaking like that if he were among us now.
If you are conversing with younger people, you have explain it. Why put God across like that?

It works for formal things. But for everyday usage I don't like it.
It's like putting on a fancy dress renaissance costume to eat at McDonalds

Why should I not warn a brother that he has been mislead?
Will you repent of spreading disinformation and admit that my Bible is valid?

I know what it means also as I was brought up king james
but my kids would not have a clue nor would most people today
the world does nit speak king jimmy. Only a few pastors do. If the people are not members of their church or brought up in that language because their parents used that bible. It is a foreign language to them
which is what our lib only cult person asked.

If Jesus, in the Matthew 5 says so, then why not? Because you understand what Jesus is teaching is for the Jews and not the body of Christ, at least I hope so. Yes?

Which translation of John 5 .24 do you find any one saying these words? Should it be " yo yo , hear me now" lol

It garboileth me not
It's irrelevant as today's Bibles are written in the correct English of the 20th-21st Century

Brothers & sisters, don't be baited into an argument. That's the Devil's way of doing things. The ones baiting you isn't worth losing your witness over. God only knows how many times I was responding to a post the past few days & had to stop & delete it. They're not worth it. The Bible says to dust off our feet as we leave them as a testimony against them.

Yeah thats usually how some are swayed into the modern translations . " oh the only difference is they taken out the ' thees ' and the ' thous' ,really everything else is the same "
