I am between jobs right now due to our move and finally have the time to read. Probably read 10 novels in the last 2 months. When I am working full-time I rarely have time to read. I have probably read over a 1000 books in my life but there have been years when I haven't read a single book. Growing up my mom always encouraged me to read. It is one of life's more simple pleasures.
On Valentine's Day Walmart had already cleared out the Valentine's candy and stocked a whole aisle with Easter candy. Got some Cadbury chocolate filled eggs. I would like very much to be a hero but sadly that is not the case at this moment in time.

I always thought eggs were probably more appropriate on Valentines day.
I just wondered what kind of flowers. Roses? Sunflowers? Daisies? Forget-me-nots?

I often wonder what happens to the left over flowers at the shops after valentine's day. Are they just thrown out if nobody buys them after they are put out on special??

I hope so otherwise it seems like such a waste. I saw some on the bargain table two days later and they looked like they were on their way out. Maybe the staff took them home, but I doubt whether they would have lasted more than another day.

Here on earth eventually all flowers fade and become wilted. In the spring they come back to life just like Frosty the Snowman comes back to life in the winter.
