Hi everyone!
I’m Laura and clearly new here I’m 29 and married with 2 bunnies. I was raised in an Advent Christian and Christian Missionary Alliance church by my grandmother. Although I’m not the best at attending church services or studying the Word, I do love these things and miss them quite terribly when I find myself overwhelmed with life. I’m actually here because I’m finding myself quite hungry and thirsty for the Lord these days!
I was on my 5th read through of the Left Behind Series (please no hate, the story is compelling) and I realized how much I’ve loved eschatology for years. I’ve been really interested in it as long as I can remember. Even in elementary school telling everyone my favorite book was Revelation. Anyways, I finally feel like I want to start diving myself into all that I can find on the subject and was searching for Christian forums when this site came up.
I graduated from a Christian college in 2015, and although my majors were accounting and finance, Christian Theology was my absolute favorite course. I could read for that class all day and never get bored. If I wasn’t swamped in student debt I might have even gone to seminary. So I guess long story short, I love theology of all sorts and have a special love for eschatology and exegesis. I will probably be asking opinions on books to read on those subjects.
looking forward to “meeting” you all!
